Put in an older 2TB disk and moving all data from disk12 to that. Cant I just get rid of that disk12 after I saved my data? Just so the array can operate normaly again. My new 10TB disks will arrive tomorow....

Hello This is my current situation: - The 2TB disk on the bottom failed and now realy is the time to get two new drives. Cant I just remove disk 12 from the array and let unraid move the data to the other disks? - I'm probably going to get two Seagate IronWolf 10TB disks and place one of them as parity. If I cant do the above how can I replace the parity without loosing my data? Thanks for any help!

Thanks for your response but I couldnt find anything in the readme. I've done some research and just found to manualy set a variable INTERFACES to bond0. After that my docker wont start anymore, removing the variable allows the docker to start again...

Thanks, as I went through the tutorial he mentioned that if you have network bonding enabled it might look different than his example. This is where my problem lies: I get this in my config: Interface and IP Address Listen on all interfaces eth0: 172.17.0.6 My local IP of the unraid machine is 192.168.178.200, is there a way I can get it to work with bonding enabled?

Hello I bought two H310 and wanted to flash one by one using this tutorial: https://techmattr.wordpress.com/2016/04/11/updated-sas-hba-crossflashing-or-flashing-to-it-mode-dell-perc-h200-and-h310/ I managed to get the SAS address, but shortly after got the "Failed to initialize PAL. Exiting program." Error. I then tried to get it done via the efi shell but then I get this error: "No LSI SAS adapters found!" Things I've done: megacli.exe -AdpAllInfo -aAll -page 20 -> got my SAS address megarec.exe -writesbr 0 sbrempty.bin -> got the needed error megarec.exe -cleanflash 0 -> rebooted after sas2flsh.exe -o -f 6GBPSAS.fw -> PAL error sas2flash.efi -o -f 6GBPSAS.FW -> NO LSI SAS... What should I try now?

Hello I'm currently running 7x 4TB disk a single 4TB parity. This weekend I want to bring in my 2TB disks and add one of the 7 4TB disks as a 2nd parity. What is the quickest way to get that done? (Not have to rebuild the system as I'll remove a data disk...) Thanks for your help

Hello ladies and gents I have to replace my Fractal R4 for a larger case. I'm currently running 9x 4 WD Reds and an SSD as cache and soon running out of space. I'd like to upgrade my server case to hotswap cages and thought of this build: 1x PC-343B-XT (need to buy) 6x SST-FS305B (need to buy) 2x H310 (already bought) Currently using a Seasonic Platinum 460 Fanless (460W), should I get a new PSU for that project? Any other recommendations? Thanks!

Hello Today I saw that my parity got invalid over night for some reason. No disk seems to have a problem (extended smart reports are running now and will be added as soon as they are done) https://i.snag.gy/zTLXQB.jpg How should I get my parity valid again without knowing whats up? If a single disk is the problem, can I remove that disk without loosing any data and get a valid parity? Try doing it in this order: 1) Remove container and image 2) remove all files in your config folder 3) add a new container and choose the my-guacamole. Right next to it you should find a red X to remove it from the list 4) Choose the guacamole docker and reinstall it Hope this works for you
