They do as long as I connect them to unRAID using an external sata usb connector. What would be the best way to move that data back to the array? Would I have to move the information share by share or is there something simpler?

Looking for help please! So I've made some mistakes and don't know what to do at this point to prevent data loss and restore unRAID as per how I used to have it. It all started with some simple changes that should not have affected anything. I added a HDD and LSI 9211-8i P20 IT Mode Sas controller. After I started unRAID back up it showed 1 device (disk1) missing from the array. So I restarted and the next time it showed 2 disks missing from the array. Then eventually 3 disks missing, then 2 again, and so forth. No rhyme or reason as to why different disks would be missing. Ultimately I tried to establish new config (without preserving disk assignments), which I know now was a mistake, and don't know what to do. So where i'm at right now is, the motherboard will not see 2 of my HDD's in the Bios. I've tried every combination of sata cables and power cables from working drives and the 2 will not show up no matter what. If I take a portable usb sata adapter and plug the drive into one of the motherboard usb ports, it shows up in unassigned devices just fine. So at this point the array is missing 2 drives with a lot of data on each and I have left the server off until I can figure this out as to prevent data loss. Can anyone please help or tell me where to begin. As far as the 2 drives not showing up in the motherboard bios, I'm tempted to think they'll show up again if I were able to format them, but at this point I don't want to do that as I will lose data.

How do you change the gui theme? Oh I see it, it's called Dynamix Color Theme. They are no better unfortunately. Couldn't Lime Tech add the old styling back as a theme option?

The new GUI and Forum design is absolutely horrendous to look at and super hard on my eyes. I'm getting headaches non stop from the new look. Can someone please tell me how to revert the look in unraid back to what it previously looked like. If there is no way to do so can Lime Tech please add a way. The new design is absolutely horrible!

I swapped out the cables. Balanced and scrubbed the cache and this is the diagnostics file. I am still getting one error but can't figure out how to fix it. Any suggestions?tower-diagnostics-20180512-1703.zip

Tonight I'm going to get the machine from the office and try swapping out all the sata cables and see if that fixes everything. It definitely is freezing though. My dockers and shares and everything stop working and it won't ever come back up until I hard reset the machin. Any other ideas I should try when as well as sata cables?

Would that be causing my machine to keep freezing? I'll try swapping out all the cables and post what happens.

So I swapped out the cables and now I am getting a bunch of UDMA CRC Error Count errors for 3 of my 5 drives but i'm not getting a lot of the other errors. I'm not sure why but my unraid machine started freezing after about 10 minutes of operation and I have security cameras running through a docker on this machine and I need it to run flawlessly. I swapped out the sata cable and this is what is happening now. not as many errors but a couple and a warning. I haven't done a scrub yet. What should i try now? lakesidebpo-diagnostics-20180510-1531.zip Just finished a scrub and it said no errors.

I just added the second ssd a couple of days ago and that's when i noticed these errors.

That would be useful. On a side note, when I turn on tls-crypt openvpn defaults to the latest version of OpenSSL 2.4.3 and it Tunnelblick on my Mac I can change the OpenVPN version manually to whatever I need. However, the OpenVPN app I use on my iPhone only allows OpenVPN versions of 2.3.17 or lower. So if I have tls-crypt turned on I can only use Open VPN on my Mac and not my iPhone. So if you added Elliptic Curve to the app would it cause a similar issue? Because I would like to use tls-crpyt and Elliptic curve but I have to have Open VPN working on my iPhone as well so I can't right now.

Can a flash drive go bad for just one app? How do you recommend I install it? I don't know how to fix this issue?

I will try and let you know. I did follow the instructions and configure the server correctly and there was no start button. I will try to use a different folder name and see if that works and if not I'll post the 2 .cfg files. How do I out the Do I have to ssh in to do this?

I have 2 unraid servers. I had this plugin installed for a year now on 1 of the servers. Just recently the plugin stopped working and I noticed the Start button was missing entirely so i cannot start the plugin. I tried to remove the plugin and used ca to remove all app data. Then I used Krusader to remove the file myVPNserver from the cache. Then I rebooted the server and tried to install again and the same thing happened. No start button. On my second server that has never had this plugin installed on it before, I was able to install the plugin and start it no problem and everything is fine. Can someone please help me figure this out. I really need to get this plugin going again and it is by far the best openvpn plugin for what I need. Any help is much appreciated.

So this might be a stupid question, but here it goes. You know how Youtube has many servers all over the world and not every server contains the same data but there are duplicates in some instances. The point is, how are google's youtube servers integrated with each other? My understanding of it is this. You look for a video to watch on youtube. you click on the video and it searches for the closest youtube servers that contains the video file and streams it from there. Right? To add even more complexity, if a server is loaded down with traffic youtube will then search for a further less loaded server to balance the operations with right? I know this is probably way beyond anything short of a large corporation, but is there any way to do something even close to this with my two personal servers?
