ASUS P5Q Pro - S3 Sleep, S2Ram & WOL Not Working
dianasta replied to JaguarTech's topic in User Customizations
I have the same issue as many others I believe. The S3 Sleep, S2Ram & WOL is just Not Working properly. I have tried many things but no luck. In my case it works sometimes only. I will put to sleep then wake up properly, and then the next time will not wake up at all. It is very inconsistent, go figure what is wrong. My motherboard is Asus Crosshair IV Formula. I'm runnig the Release 5.0-rc8a. -
PM sent.

Found the issue, correction will be available in next release. I believe this will also correct the non-functioning s3-sleep of Kricker. That's great thanks. -

2 Seagate 3TB ST3000DM001-9YN166 different sizes in unmenu
dianasta replied to dianasta's topic in User Customizations
There is no HPA, the drives are identical as per hdparm utility: root@Tower:~# hdparm -N /dev/sdc /dev/sdc: max sectors = 5860533168/5860533168, HPA is disabled root@Tower:~# hdparm -N /dev/sdv /dev/sdv: max sectors = 5860533168/5860533168, HPA is disabled Smart information shows similar sizes for both drives. Hi There, I was wondering why 2 Seagate 3TB ST3000DM001-9YN166 drives show different sizes in unmenu, image is attached. I'm runnig v5.0-rc6-r8168-test2 (Experimental fix/test for mpt2sas controllers (LSI)). But the geometry is identical. root@Tower:~# hdparm -g /dev/sdc /dev/sdc: geometry = 364801/255/63, sectors = 5860533168, start = 0 root@Tower:~# hdparm -g /dev/sds /dev/sds: geometry = 364801/255/63, sectors = 5860533168, start = 0 Thanks.

unRAID Server Release 5.0-rc6-r8168-test Available
dianasta replied to limetech's topic in Announcements
I've got the same, I was preclearing one drive. On the earlier unRAID version 4.7, I was preclearing 5 drives at the same time with no issue. 5.0-rc6-r8168-test / Stack trace and server crashes
dianasta replied to dianasta's topic in General Support (V5 and Older)
I removed all the addons (unmenu, simpleFeatures). Now after running for about 2 hours reiserfsck on my disks (8 instances) I've got another stack trace logged in the syslog without crashing. SUPERMICRO AOC-SASLP-MV8 & ASUS M4A88TD-V EVO/USB3

There is the same issue with old or new BIOS. I need both cards, installed. What if I get another different manufacturer card? -
SUPERMICRO AOC-SASLP-MV8 & ASUS M4A88TD-V EVO/USB3
dianasta replied to dianasta's topic in General Support (V5 and Older)
Do you have the same setup but with one card? I need both cards to run my disk drives -
Hello All, I have just build a new unRAID server, with 2 SUPERMICRO AOC-SASLP-MV8 cards and the ASUS M4A88TD-V EVO/USB3 motherboard. Now I have updated the latest motherboard firmware. The issue is that there is no way to power down the PC, it just comes back a second later by itself. If I remove the 2 SUPERMICRO AOC-SASLP-MV8 cards it is fine, shuts down no problem, when I put them back then when I press the power button the PC always restarts by itself It seems that there is a compatibility issue here with this combination of cards and motherboard. Please note that I'm testing hardware here, at this point I'm not even booting the unRAID server. Thanks.

dianasta replied to speeding_ant's topic in User Customizations
Yes, I have it set to S3 only in BIOS. The only USB device that is attached is the unRAID flash drive. Something else when it wakes up is completely frozen, i have to press the reset button.
