  1. Well I found what is probably the fix for my problem, and I changed the value to -1.
  2. I have been getting stale file handle errors in my ubuntu 16.04 vm's. After mounting a drive it takes 24-48 hours and then I start getting the stale file handle error. Any ideas what may cause this? Any logs I can look at that may help narrow it down?
  3. Where is your Application Data Storage Path mounted? Could it be some docker issue upgrades with unRAID? As far as I know it is set to the default I did not change it. "/mnt/cache/appdata/gitlab-ce/data"
  4. I had installed, configured, and migrated all of my data to GitLab to get off of bitbucket and github. I had to restart my unraid box after installing an unraid update and everything was gone in gitlab. It started up and asked me to configure my password like it was a new install. After I set the password and got in the account had been reset to defualt and all of the data was gone. I do have access to copies of the repos since they are checked out. My concern is what did I do wrong that would have caused this? Any thoughts?

  6. 2 VM's stopped on me this morning. An windows vm and and Ubuntu vm. I am attaching part of the diagnostics zip to this post and part to the next since the size is to large dazeynas-diagnostics-20161019-1004.zip
  7. I am thinking this problem may be related to restarting the VM. I noticed that windows had installed updates the last time. I was then restarting after installing some applications and the system hung during boot and had the same error when I tried to resume. I have not had it crash while running though so maybe that is an unrelated issue. It hasn't happened in a few days though so I will keep watching for that to happen again.
  8. I had missed a couple of steps. I completed all of them now. I'll monitor it and see if I still have issues.
  9. The windows vm is showing that it needs to be resumed and gives the following error if you try to resume. Previously it was showing at stopped. internal error: unable to execute QEMU command 'cont': Resetting the Virtual Machine is required diagnostics is attached. No antivirus software has been installed. dazeynas-diagnostics-20161011-1559.zip
  10. I will post it as soon as it crashes again.
  11. I ran into this if I didn't open vnc quick enough. It was asking me to hit enter to boot from cd and I missed it. Maybe it is the same thing.
  12. I am nearing the end of my trial of unRAID. Everything was great until a couple of days ago when my windows 10 VM started crashing randomly. I really want unRAID to work for me because it is exactly what I want. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Or any other details that may help track down the problem? I also have had my Ubuntu VM crash on me in the last day. That is running Ubuntu 16.04.
  13. YES That definitely was it I shutdown the VM's right after posting and everything moved. I hate it when I have to make a dumb post just to figure out what was obvious and staring me in the face the whole time.
  14. I am trying out unraid and really wanting this to work for me. I setup a few shares for downloaded isos and executables, media, and files to be shared between virtual machines. The vmdisks are not stored in the protected array they are kept on my cache. My problem is with my isos share. Some of the files refuse to move to protected storage. As I am writing this I am wondering if it could be because the vms are running and possibly accessing the file? Any ideas would be helpful, I only have a few days left in my trial and don't want to purchase a license if I don't know I can get this working 100%.
