I've never used dockers before and currently have plex running on dedicated hardware but thinking of consolidating and tossing up between lsio docker or VM. How do updates work in a docker? Can you use plex in-built update function or does the whole docker image need to be updated each time? Can you 'reboot' a single docker, or would you need to ssh in to kill the PMS process and re-load, or even does the whole UnraidOS need a reboot to flush everything properly? Are there any other drawbacks like codecs/data mapping that might be managed easier in a VM? Cheers!

For anyone else that comes across this, I had to modify my syslinux.cfg. I had to add 'acpi=off' as follows label unRAID OS menu default kernel /bzimage append initrd=/bzroot acpi=off

Hi Guys, My power went out last night causing my unraid to be shutdown improperly, after powering back up I've got a disk showing 'Device is disabled, contents emulated' and I can't work out why. 'df -h' shows the disk is mounted and I can browse the contents from the command line. Smart long test passed OK, unraid is at v6.3.5. Smart log attached. Thanks in advance! Hi Guys, Tried the update today and totally killed my system. 6.2 > 6.3.2 running on a HP Proliant ML310 G5. I've grabbed a screen cap from ilo, it boots to this point and just sits indefinitely. The system locks up before ever getting to the login prompt so I've not been able to grab a current syslog. Lock up happens in all boot modes normal/safe/gui. Restoring from the /previous directory has it up and running again, I've tried the update twice more in case something went wrong during the process but same result each time. I don't run any addon cards, 6 HDD's are directly connected to the motherboards sata ports. Any ideas? Cheers.

Appears not to be working under the same vmware server config that version 4.4.2 did. Get the boot screen, Loading bzimage, Loading bzroot ...... ready, VM reboots and the process loops over and over. Would this be something incompatible in the new build or vm config option?
