  1. Hello guys.

I'm having a little trouble right from the start. So I installed the docker, but I get an execution error(server error) when I try to start it.

When I try to change the ports I get this error message:

/usr/bin/docker: Error response from daemon: driver failed programming external connectivity on endpoint letsencrypt (562d830479261e90e8ad0a784fb2d05da0e1e122aae19e393fab7bf4d4c5bcc8): Error starting userland proxy: listen tcp 0.0.0.0:445: bind: address already in use.

    The command failed.

What am I doing wrong? (I am running on Unraid 6.5.0)

  2. Hello,

I have a question regarding the ratio groups.

Now that I set up sonarr and radarr, I had to set up some ratio rules. And everything works great.

My problem is that the ratio groups are set to default after the docker gets restarted (within rutorrent). I checked the config file if I can change it there so my ratiogroups survive a restart.

What am I doing wrong? Or where can I make my ratio settings permanent?

    Thanks in advance.

p.s. thanks binhex for your great dockers

  3. Does this docker support hardware transcoding with a "generic" intel i-core (i3 7100 in my case). I have Intel Quick Sync enabled in the EMBY UI but is doesn't seem to work. Do I need to passthrough the igpu to the Docker?

  4. So how do I go at this? I simply saved the usb flash drive data.

Now I just wipe that clean. Then prepare the usb stick as if I was installing a fresh 6.5.0 and go for a trial version. Then Power down and replace the license and the super.dat file?

I saw on the forums that other people had trouble using the same USB drive. Do I need to buy another one first?

    Edit:

I am asking this now becuase I can't reach or ping the server right now. So I believe now must be the time to do the reinstall.

Saving data in the array is a pretty normal thing to do in general, so I don't understand your question.

Well I want to completely reinstall Unraid since something is wrong and I can't fix it. Maybe I updated wrong which explains why I seem to be the only one here having this problem.

So I would just erase the boot drive, install the newest version (6.5.0 I believe.) and then I'm not sure if and how I can tell this new install to use the drives that already have data with parity, to not write over that.

Lastly install and confige all the dockers again.

  6. Yep I found it. Thanks.

    To the bigger issue:

It looks looks like all traffic is routed through my delugeVPN docker and I can figure out why. I can't find anything on the network settings that would indicate that.

    • Might downgrading back to 6.3.5 solve it. Will the Dockers not like this at all since some of them got updated after the unraid update?
    • If I reinstall, can I save my data on the array with the shares? (I could not find anything on the wiki about that.)

    cheers

By "path" I mean the folder you want to change. Is the word "path" unfamiliar to you? You click the Edit button next to it.

Where would this be. Under the "main" tab under unassigned device. Or Do I need to this for each dockers template where I assigned the "path"? Do I need to activate "destructive mode" to get the setting?

  8. 20 minutes ago, trurl said:

Go ahead and uninstall it then reboot. Might not help but still a good thing to do.

    Sadly it didn't help.

So if I would overwrite  /mnt/user/system/docker/docker.img with the one I have backed up (stopping docker service first of course), will I get the old dockers back that were functioning but not updateable?

  9. Yes I had DelugeVPN as well as rTorrentVPN (with privoxy enabled) installed.

But I did not route any traffic outside the dockers through Privoxy (except some clients on my network). Where would I find if unraid  traffic is routed through any privoxy?

This is the first time I hear about jumbo frames. So I'll read up on it if I did something there.

    Edit:

I think I just remembered that I forgot to uninstall the preclear plugin before updating to 6.4.0. Might that be the cause of all of this?

I have no idea where "path" is.

I also deleted the Docker image. But I can't seem to be able to re-add the old ones over the "select template" box.

So I created a backup of the docker.img file before I deleted it. Can I just overwrite the new image with it to get it working again?

  12. Thanks but this buts me into a constant loop into the same thread.

The only thing I found was this:

" If you are running unRaid 6.2beta 20+, then you need to adjust your volume mappings mode (usually either RW or Read Only) to be RW:Slave or Read Only:Slave) "

Which didn't clear anything up for me. Since I can already read and write to the device, I'm not sure what I should change.

    Also:

Docker Apps: Only suggestion to to delete the docker image (Settings - docker - advanced view, disable service, delete the image, re-enable service), and then re-add your apps via Apps tab, previous apps (check off all your apps, then Install Multi)

If I do this. Will  I loose the configurations for those dockers?

The setting was disabled. So I enabled and disabled it. Now the plugins page loads but it takes 4-5 minutes.

    I haven't tried the Docker-thing yet.

I also noticed that the "fix common problems" plugin doesn't like that my unassigned drive isn't mounted with a slave option. I need to check what that is.

  14. Hello Unraid community,

I have a little trouble since I updated to 6.4.0 from 6.3.5 I believe. In the beginning everything was working fine, but after a while my dockers seem to have issues.

First I wss unable to update some of the dockers. I see the update now button but when I do the update it tells me 0B pulled and so on. I will put some examples below.

for some of them it says "not available" instead of "up-to-date" or "update ready".

I read up a little on the forums. I deleted the old ghost-images of dockers I don't use anymore, but it didn't help. I also read that deinstalling "advanced button" can fix things.

Problem is if I go to the "installed plugins" tab, it keeps loading but never lists the installed plugins. So I am not sure how should check if I have it installed or even uninstall it.

The "install plugin" and the "plugin file install errors" tab work.

There is an error though: /boot/config/plugins-error/dynamix.system.temp.plg

Here are some example of errors when I try to update Dockers:

    Watch this:

  16. Yes I could write directly to the protected storage. I probably also wouldn't mind the "longer" transfer.

I'm just confused. What do you mean by files that are open? Are you guys not using your cache and if you use the mover, does your system also become unusable slow?

    Edit:

For now I disabled cache. Maybe once 6.4 will be released, I will try if that will fix anything.

  17. Hello,

I am having a rough time with the mover.

When the mover is running Unraid becomes very slow to a point where I have to wait 5-15 minutes for the webUI to become available and it takes the same amount of time for any action there. The Docker aer basically unreachable.

The mover also seems to not move the files over. I had to hard reset this morning because the mover didnt seem to work after 12+ hours. Today I started the mover manualy and I have the same experience again.

I have no idea on how to pin point the problem. I pulled the diagnostics logs and will attach them here.

    How can I fix this?

    Thank you

    server diagnostics-20171229-2209.zip

    Edit:

Shortly after this post the WebUI and everthing else became responsive with the server message:

unRAID Cache disk message: 29-12-2017 22:10
Notice [Server] - Cache disk returned to normal utilization level

So I am guessing unRaid doesn't like high cache utilization.
