  1. Hello,

I'm having a hard time setting this thing up. I followed gridrunners video carefully, but when I try to connect via OpenVPN GUI I get the following message over and over again as it tries to connect:

    Sun Dec 17 18:42:58 2017 TLS: Initial packet from [AF_INET](myipadress):1194, sid=f21eac15 a8b634c1
Sun Dec 17 18:42:58 2017 TLS Error: cannot locate HMAC in incoming packet from [AF_INET](myipadress):1194

    Any ideas?

  2. Well it seems to partially work. I can now enter my trakt credentials and save them. When I go to a different user, and enter the credentials there and click save, they will be saved as well. Now if I hit save on user 2 again I losse the credentials on the first user. So right now I just have to make sure I only click save once.

I havent tried if the settings are the after restarting the docker, but I will check back if it won't work.

    Thanks again for the fix.

    cheers

There's a thread on the Emby forums

Sounds like this is an issue with the the Binhex docker and not Emby itself. I'm going to install Emby's docker tonight to see if I have the same issue.

Like the OP on this thread states....the only started happening after the Binhex docker had some sort of failed update and could no longer start until Binhex fixed it.

Haha yes I started the thread on the emby forums. So I have to say I have that issue. #metoo

I have one question. Does this docker support hardware transcoding in emby? If yes do I need to give the docker acces to my iGPU? If no, is there a docker that supports it?

Yeah the data should be unchanged. The last added data isnt that important anyway if that is the problem.

  5. Hello fellow unraiders,

I found myself in a bit of a pickle, where I have one missing drive and one that is unmountable. Since I'm an idiot and I restarted the server a couple of times I assume, getting the logs wont't be much help. I will attach them anyway.

But let me tell you how the events that caused that problem occurred:

A couple of days ago I had a power-outage (yes I do not have an UPS) which seemed to have no effect on the server. A couple days later one disk is missing. Since I had that problem before I thought it was just another bad sata-cable. So I powered down, exchanged the cable (which did not help) and now I also have a drive that is unmountable(xfs) and two others  where the smart status telling me they are on their way out.

So I started the array in maintenance mode and did the filesystem check on the unmountable disk. Since I am very new to Unraid and the unix world in general and also the logs don't tell me anything, I thought I need to get help here. Before I mess anything more up.

Should I write the correntions to the filesystem? It seems like the only option anyways.

How do I proceed frome here? I already have 4 new drives ready to exchange for the bad ones. Will I be able to fix this without data loss?

Thank you for taking the time to help me.

    cheers

  6. Hello unRaid community,

I am about to jump on the unRAID wagon and need a little help with picking out the hardware. My main goal will be PLEX, Emby, Nextcloud homeserver with a lot of storage space. I'm sure I will add other "services" later on once I got started. I also want to utilize the hevc hardware transcoding capabilities of the i5 iGPU.

I just don't know which mainboard - sata card(s) combination I should choose. The case I am going to use will be able to hold mainboards up to HPTX - size.

It would also be great if the mainboard had a free pci slot, so I could add a graphics card later down the line if I need additional transcoding.

I look forward to your input.

    Thanks in advance!
