Has anyone tried to setup Blue Iris to record to an unassigned drive. I want to put all my recordings on a surveillance drive outside my array.

I just installed a Seagate purple surveillance drive and want to have all my recordings to record to my purple drive. I was under the assumption that when I installed my docker image to the purple drive that I would all the free space of the drive but that wasn't the case. It limits me to the size of the docker Image. In my case 30gb. How do I sent it so I can use the full 1TB?

Hello, I recently had a drive failure and have been waiting to get a replacement drive. My drive finally came in and I went to run a preclear but could'nt find it under my plugins. So I went into the community application tab and notice nothing populates and I get a " Something really wrong went on during get_categories Post the ENTIRE contents of this message in the Community Applications Support Thread No data was returned. It is probable that another browser session has rebooted your server. Reloading this browser tab will probably fix this error" I've restarted server twice, tried a different browser and still nothing. Any help? tower-diagnostics-20201127-1118.zip

Yes I think I remember how to rebuild the drive. Im pretty sure the drive is failing, its got over 3 years on it.

Yes Disk 4 was the one that was kicked off my array. I will try swapping out sata cables and run a extended smart test. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thanks Johnnie.black. One other issue I noticed. When I tired doing a shutdown via GUI, I noticed it would ask me to confirm that I wanted to shut down and then it would do nothing. If I refreshed the page I could still click on other tabs and it was responsive. Any ideas?

Should I delete my outdated super.dat file?

Will I not loose all my data that are on my drives? I was about to that but I saw a post where someone said not to do a “New Config” because it will clear all drives. Should I delete my old super.dat file since its outdated?

So I’m in the process of swaping my Lenovo Ts140 into a new case (Rosewill RSV-4000) after swapping everthing over I pluged in my existing USB KEY and nothing. I tried checking my usb key on multiple computers and its showing no signs of life so I order a new usb key from amazon. New usb key came and I remember I had originally made a copy of my old usb key and saved it to my computer( I believe I was on 6.3). So I downloaded the newest version of unraid and replaced the config file with my old config folder and added my license key. I followed the steps to trasfer my old license to the new key. Heres were I almost messed up.When I go to add my drives to the array I notice its pulling up the wrong drives. I change them to the correct ones( I had taken a screenshot before I swapped the cases). I remember I had removed some drives and replaced them with new ones. Luckily, unraid said there were to many errors and would not let me start the array. My question is,should I just download a fresh copy and assign all my drives in the same order as my screen shot?

But I cant get the array to start in normal mode. When I click start array it does not even go through the normal proccess ie: starting array... mounting drives... My browser just refreshes. And it stays at "Array stopped" Could it be a bad update? Everthing was fine up untill I updated my firmware. (I did have to dockers working in the back ground)

Is it ok if I start the array in safemode, and then pulling the diagnostics report. Correct me if Im wrong but the diagnostic report gets saved to my usb key?

OK so no luck I removed all my docker plugins and it wont start the array in normal mode. The only way I can get it it to start is if I boot unraid in safemode and then the array with start.

OK OK Great! I thought I was SOL. I will remove all docker plugins later tonight and start unraid in regular mode and see if that fixes my issue. Thanks so much again for your help I'll give you an update tonight

I meant to say that I have the array running in safemode. But its up and running. That last log was with the array in safe mode.

I tried booting up my server in safe mode and running with no plugins. I was able to start the array in safe mode. does this mean anything? I believe one of my docker apps was still running since one of my torrent files showed up as completed. I went in an manually stopped and rebooted in regular mode and still same crap. does this mean anything?

sorry for my ignorance, but Im not sure how. Do I ssh into the server using telenet? and then what do I type?
