  1. Is anybody having a problem with latest relase? RuTorrent spins around forever and times out with the error "Bad response from server: (0 [error, getplugins])" Have tried with an empty configuration. The logs does not include anything hinting about an error.
  2. Do you have same problem as me? See above
  3. Hi! I have the same problem but I am using AirVPN. The port is forwared in AirVPN. On most (but not all of them!) trackers I get the message: Failed to add torrent. Can't retrieve URL. I have googled the problem and it seems to be a problem with curl & https?
  4. I seem to have a problem tunning both rutorrent and flood. Am I alone with this? Running both I get this after a while: And then the download speeds goes down to 0. Disabled flood now, and the problem doesn’t occur. Edit: Seems that I get that error no matter what.
  5. Didn’t heard of flood before. That solved both issues above.
  6. @binhex About passwords I’ve discovered something not good at all, this is maybe already known. But it even if you have authentication required, you can just press cancel and continue to use the ui. You’ll need to press cancel every time it asks you abou a password but I’ve successfully added torrents and downloaded them without logging into rutorrent. I used rutorrent behind nginx/cdn but I need to disable that due to this. Too bad.. Edit: canceling the login only seems to work if you have been logged into rutorrent before. Using another browser I could cancel the login, it gave me “401 Authorization Required”. Will be keeping behind cdn/nginx then.
  7. Is it possible to use http forms (login page) instead of basic to login? The http basic popup doesn’t work with 1password (password-vault) auto-fill
  8. Hi! I’m trying to add another volume..I’ve done this successfully for other containers but it’s a little bit problematic for rtorrent. -v /mnt/Storage3:/Storage3 \ But when adding a new torrent, this volume doesn’t show up. I can see the volume when creating a torrent and even browse it’s the folders in the storrage. By using docker exec -i rtorrent bash -c "ls Storage3" I can view the folders in the volume. I can even create and remove folders in the volume withing the container. So I think that the RW permissions should be correct. I’ve tried to update the image with no luck. Any take on this? Edit: If I make a new folder within an old visible volume, I can’t see it in rtorrent either. Eg. I make it using ssh or ftp using my user account. I’ve set the R/W permissions for rtorrent for the specific new folder, but no luck.
  9. I need to look into unraid later I just migrated to my new beefy server, and everything went smoothly but just a minor detail. (This could also be due to a bug in a newer version and not the migration, my image wasn’t updated before.) The label counter in the state panel doesn’t show any activity, finished, inactive, active etc displays 0. Clicking on each state displays all finished, inactive torrents etc. It’s just the counter that is always set to (0) although there’s torrents in each state. I just downloaded a torrent-file recently and the label downloading is displaying (0), clicking on the label shows that it’s downloading. I get this message when I enter the rutorrent gui, didn’t got it in the old image and don’t know if it’s related: JS error:[ip/js/webui.js : 1923 ] TypeError: undefined is not an object (evaluating ’s[lbl]’) Edit: Fixed it, when migrating some torrents had labels. Sonarr/Radarr labels-settings didn't migrate. Removing the labels solved the problem.
  10. I've bought a new server. I want a smooth transition of my torrents and the container setup. Is this a good way to do it: 1. Install OS and necessary packages. 2. Create necessary groups/users 3. Install docker containers using the configs I used before. 4. Copy over ~/rtorrent from old computer to new, adjust permissions if needed. No. 4 is where I hope that the state of rtorrent will be restored in the new server. Is there any better way?
  11. Is there a way to check the status of the VPN connetection? I could check the log or use AirVPN client area, but I try to incorporate this into my home-assistant page where I'm displaying if the connection is up or not. Preferbly using the terminal. Edit: Found the solution by reading the 'HELP FAQ' and made some tweaking to use opendns: docker exec -it rtorrent dig +short myip.opendns.com @resolver1.opendns.com binhex, what kind of beer do you like? You deserve some beer for your great work
  12. Thanks for a really good image. I've one tiny problem, and I've the red dot indicating that my port is closed. I'm opening port 34562 in rtorrent and have opened it up in airvpn to. Doing port check via airvpn passes, but rtorrent fail the port check. It's something with the outgoing connections that fails. I've been using qtorrent, deluge, transmission, rtorrent via vpn before (no docker) and have always been able to open port properly. Any hints what I'm missing? edit: Never mind. It's green now, does it take some time before updating first time?
