  1. lockrob2000's post in I've been dealing with random disconnects, but now this... was marked as the answer
OK, my instance has been running for 18.5 hours with no disconnects.
I can surmise that the issue was the C-states settings. I went into BIOS and disabled C-states and that seems to have been the golden ticket.
Thanks you for all the help. I was thrashing around blindly until you helped steer me in the right direction.
    Thank you so much!
  2. lockrob2000's post in Need help with Plex log was marked as the answer
I think you solved it for me. Though I did not think of it as an adblocker, I have Aura installed and it blocks insecure websites.
I unchecked that part and it seems to have worked. I will not count my chickens, but I will now look into making Plex "secure".
Not sure what is involved in that, but that is my next quest (if my good fortune continues with this issue).
    Thanks so much-
    Rob

Well, I have to say a great big thanks for the post.
Adding the SMBUser seems to have done the trick, and your post and the included directions in those posts was the best I have seen.
Thank You, thank you, thank U-
    Rob
