  1. I know this is a known issue but I have attempted a solution to the problem of accessing dockers over VPN using OpenVPN-as as a docker. I follow these instructions:

    Here is my network settings:

    OpenVPN-as network settings:

What looks wrong here? I have the secondary NIC to support this as per bonienl instructions but still I am unable to access my docker IP's over VPN. unRAID GUI is fine just no dockers.

    Thanks

  2. Very nice. I had been trying to hunt down the Node 804 when I was looking to upgrade last year, at the time it was sold out most places. Ended up with another Fractal case which I have also replace due to space limitations. I love the fractal cases though really well built and good value for money.

There are 3 types, host, bridge, and macvlan. Macvlan is the only one with that restriction.

What about if I run OpenVPN on Host and the other dockers on macvlan can I connect to them? I setup OpenVPN earlier and was only able to connect to unRAID Gui but not other docker IP's.

If a docker container has its own ip, the connection between that and the host will be blocked. That's a security feature of macvlan

If you install OpenVPN-as as Host without its own IP can you still connect to other dockers with their own IP? I have most of my dockers with their own IP for ease.

  5. I have an issue where everytime Medusa docker upgrades I lose my entire config. I have backed it up now but its getting pretty annoying and takes away from the automated side of things.

Any ideas? I have tried re-installing docker from clean but still happens.

Hi, has anyone else experienced missing RAR or other archive files when Medusa is running. I have downloaded other torrents and have noticed that they are being deleted if Medusa is running. Other files such as MP4, MKV, ISO etc aren't touched but my RAR archives get deleted. If Medusa isn't running then the files remain but as a soon as I start Medusa up again after a few minutes the RAR files are removed.

Any help with this will be greatly appreciated.

What post processing do you have running for files if any? Also which Torrent client at you using to download files? If Medusa is post processing files for you depending on settings it will delete compressed files like RAR if you set it to.

An issue I have at the moment is Medusa loses its config after every update and its really fricking painful to keep setting it up again.

  7. Had a reply from Asrock with a link to download updated BMC (04.08.00) for E3C222D4U!!. That was a shock, wonder why its not on their website available to download, I will upload for anyone else who needs this weekend.

Well flashed the BMC via IPMI that seemed to go fine. Server reboots but I am unable to login to IPMI, it just hangs when I click login. Asrock have provided me with some recovery tool which I need to try so will report back.

Great news though Asrock support is rather responsive it seems, good to see.

For my BMC/Java issues ASRock finally released a BMC update in November 2017 for the E3C226D2I board (and others) which means the board is now compatible with all recent versions of JAVA up to and including the latest available.  Before that, only 8.121 or prior could be used.

The latest BIOS update for the E3C226D2I (June 2018) also seems to have fixed whatever BIOS issue was requiring the use of "nomodeset" to avoid the IPMI video blanking problem with Linux Kernels higher than 4.13.

Your E3C222D4U is based on an older chipset, but, I can't imagine the JAVA compatibility issues with the BMC are much different on that board than on mine.  With your BIOS and BMC both stuck on 2015 releases, you will continue to have issues until ASRock updates them.  Hopefully, they have not decided that the C222 chipset boards are not worth updating.

Thanks for the information. I am just writing an email to Asrock support now, hopefully they can assist or even update this firmware. Seems like these boards were released a similar time going by BIOS release dates. I really hope Asrock don't forget about this board and their support can assist. Will keep you guys in the loop, thanks Hoopster!

    What board do you have?

    Did you tried this?

if you don`t need i915, try to edit you syslinux append line like this:

    append nomodeset initrd=/bzroot

    Asrock E3C222D4U

In fact I managed to get it to show I previously with the fix above but I have issues with the IPMI tool, its absolute garbage on this BIOS. Also the Java version it runs on is so old I can't even find the version where the SSL certs work OK.

i915 is not loading by default!

To activate it add this to go file

if I turn i915 off, I cant use intel hd graphics for plex/emby hardware transcoding

    sorry for my English ?

Ah I see thanks, I currently don't passthrough i915 to unRAID. Don't worry your English is good enough, I can understand quite clearly :-).

I recently bought AsRock e3c236d2i and I can confirm that it allows to use intel video core, but only for video encoding/decoding, not for display....

Does IPMI work for you on this board at all? I have struggled to get IPMI working on my AsRock board as its so damn annoying with Java versions and other issues.

  12. This fixed my issue.

Do the following to let docker rebuild the networks

    rm /var/lib/docker/network/files/local-kv.db
    /etc/rc.d/rc.docker restart

Yes I also get the same issue but it is actually the Docker Execution error I am getting.

Radarr starting giving me some problems since the new update and also the new nzbget update. This is what is showing on my log below. I am getting the same error in sonarr as well. It will send the movie to nzbget and will show up in the history as "copy" and then show as instantly downloaded in radarr but nothing happens after that. The file never shows up in the download section of nzbget. Any ideas? I looked at all my settings and nothing has been changed since the update.

What happens when you test the connection from Radarr to NZBGet? I had the same issue 'Error getting response from stream.'

Restarting the docker fixed it for me though..
