I recently installed 1070ti for dedicated passthrough to my gaming vm. Now that I passed it through, I get a black screen everytime I start the VM. So far I tried downloading the rom but I can't edit the vm XML (it wont show after clicking on it), tried changing the BIOS from OVMF to seabios but its locked so I can't change it. Any ideas. I bit off more than I can chew with the gaming vm idea so it would be nice to catch a break. Thank you for your help.

hello. How to i copy the openvpn certificates to my appdata folder if I moved it to the cache?

Got it to work. So what I did was precleared the disk and re formatted it to NTFS and that seemed to work. I guess Windows 10 doesnt like vdisks

I have watched that video maybe 3 times and I have tried both ways.

I changed the primary vdisk bus and still gettting the same error. Any ideas?

I'm not sure if I understand. I thought you had to have a map network drive to save game files off a vm?

Hello. MY games download just fine through steam but when I go to launch the game it does nothing. I'm using VNC to launch the vm with the onboard graphics and no gpu, could this be the reason. Or is it a pathing issue? Any help is greatly appreciated thank you very much

Hello. I have a m.2 500gb samsung ssd that I have installed that I want to use specifically for game storage from my windows 10 vm. Can anyone point me in the right direction on how to store and run my games off my m.2. I would rather not use my cache drive. Thank you very much.
