    @alhatmy

I'm in your same country and I can access remotely.

    Basically  you have 2 options:

Call Etisalat  and ask to open the port and they'll tell you you need to pay a static ip.

    Or

    Use a cloudflare  tunnel

    Thanks!
When I called Etisalat, they were clueless about the static IP (perhaps because it's reserved for business accounts only?). What is the specific name of the service you're referring to?

As of cloudflare, what links/ports must include please ?

I think it is likely you'll need to contact your ISP for help with the port forward. But there is one last thing we can check... open a web terminal and type:

    php /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix/include/UpdateDNS.php -v

then post the results here (they are anonymized)

(Output is anonymized, use '-vv' to see full details)

On the Settings -> Management Access page, the HTTP and HTTPS ports are used for Local Access to the webgui when you are on your LAN.  The WAN Port is used for Remote Access.

Adjust your Unraid settings like this:

    * HTTP port defaults to 80, this works on most systems
    * HTTPS port defaults to 443, this works on most systems (unless you have Docker containers that you want to run on port 443, if so choose something else here)
    * WAN port, use something other than 443, such as 13856

Then for your port forward router config:

    * External Port : 13856 (or whatever you chose for WAN port above)

    * Internal Port: 443 (or whatever you chose for HTTPS port above)

    still  ..

  5. I attempted to upgrade two drives with more storage space, but I couldn't get the rebuld to start because of this (Unmountable: Unsupported partition layout). Had to stop the build, restart, and format the new drives multiple times to get them to work, but now they display No data!

Is there an app to recover? And does this mean that there is no way to recover from parity using rebuld?

Close that dialog box and you will see the "WAN Port" setting. We highly recommend you choose something other than 443. For more detailed instructions on setting up remote access see https://wiki.unraid.net/My_Servers#Configuring_Remote_Access_.28optional.29

Flash Backup is unrelated Remote Access. There are currently some issues, here are more details: https://forums.unraid.net/topic/128043-my-servers-will-not-do-flash-backup/#comment-1167192

Thank you, but I've already followed every step.. I'm certain it has to do with 443 being blocked by the ISP.

  7. I'm using Unraid for over year, can't remember when those issues started but booting usually takes 5-15 minutes and fails 50% times (where I have to reboot again) and try my luck!
Is there a way to ignore the attached Flash checks?

Note: just replaced my Flash with recent flash backup, same issue

Unassigned drives are not part of user shares, so if you did succeed in repairing the filesystem as Unassigned then maybe the files are there. You really should have repaired the emulated disk in the array before rebuilding. Expect the rebuild to be unmountable since the emulated disk wasn't repaired.

    yes I found all files.

and I'll check the filesystem once done ..... thanks

You need to check filesystem on disk10, but note that a new config it's not usually the way to fix a disable disk, though in this case it should be OK since the disk looks healthy.

Was able to fix the drive (while it's unassigned drive), and the new drive still building but (shares are still missing).

I'll just hope if someone can advice me if I can bring shares back ........... plz

  10. Got this strange issue .. I hope to find a fix !

1- Yesterday, Drive X went offline (disabled) and I had to rebuild the server .. till that time seems the 1 Parity online took over

2- I didn't reboot the server only stopped the Array, plugged 1 new driver to be the 2nd Parity and changed Drive X cables .. it worked again!

3- Started the Array again, I could see Drive x data and started the sync ... it requires 1 day

4- During the sync I Paused the sync few times and resumed, since I was using PLEX

5- When the Sync reached 60%-80% I noticed Drive X is used 90% but with No data in it ! even the share shows No Data .. 2nd share seems hidden/deleted (I'm sure the share was accessible after starting the sync).

Now the sync finished .. and I can't find the files .. what to do ?? the drive shows used 90% with 0 data ..
