  1. Hi, I'm trying to set something up so that my kids can play on a dedicated Minecraft server instead of hosting a game on their Nintendo Switch for their friends which, after a couple of hours, becomes extremely laggy. I've tried these different scenarios: I host a server on my Xbox Series X and they can join me since we're Microsoft friends. I assume their friends can join because of "friends on other platforms". They host a server on their Nintendo Switch which both I and their friends can join because of "friends on other platforms". I host a server on my Unraid server with the binhex-minecraftbedrockserver Docker image which I can join on my Xbox Series X as a local server but their Nintendo Switch can't see the server and they can't see me on "friends on other platforms" in this scenario. Do you have any idea what I can do to set up a dedicated Minecraft server for a Nintendo Switch?
  2. I know the title is a little misleading, sorry about that. For the past week, I've had my internet disconnect (all devices) and reconnect at 9,6/8.3 mbps (oddly specific). The only way to get it back up to 100/100mbps is to disconnect all ethernet connected devices and power cycle the router then plug everything back in when speed is back to normal. I've tried resetting the router, downgraded and upgraded firmware, disabled NAT according to AmpliFi's KB, but the only thing that works is to not power up my Unraid server which resides on an Intel NUC which boots 6.9.2 via UEFI. I've disabled everything related to secure boot, Thunderbolt, etc, which I don't require and I can't see any network settings in the BIOS setup menu. When I attempt to start the Unraid server, internet works fine for a couple of minutes and then immediately dumps, which I assume is when Unraid does some internal network stuff related to bridging, etc. I've also tried disabling both bonding and bridging. I tried enabling IPv6 in the router config and in Unraid, but that didn't do the trick. I've tried re-creating my flash drive and I'm on a completely fresh installation, no Docker service or VM:s enabled at all, not even a single plugin. I've ran a memory test (built in at Unraid boot menu) which showed no failures. I've swapped all ethernet cables to brand new cables. I've connected a laptop directly to the in-wall ethernet jack (ISP, no modem), which gives me a flawless 100/100mbps connection, no issues. I'm in a conversation with the AmpliFi support which are asking me to do the same thing over and over again (reset, power cycle, send support info, disconnect hardware, call ISP and ask for outages), which I've completed numerous times the past week. I've also bought an ASUS TUF router which I'll pick up and try out later tonight, but until then, maybe someone in the forums can give me any advice?
  3. Hi, I'm trying to future-proof my Unraid rig, currently running a J4105 build with 4 SATA ports, which is not near enough if GSuite would ever introduce a hard cap on their Drive space which would force me to rely on local HDD's. Another problem I find with the J4105 board is that whenever a Docker container is moving or copying a file, the whole server becomes unusable, hence why I think an upgrade would be suitable. My intention is also to hopefully be able to run a gaming VM (if I ever find the time) and run a game like World of Warcraft, but initially, I'd simply like to set up a rig capable of adding such hardware. I'm currently running Plex (a maximum of three simultaneous users, hardly any transcodes), SabNZBD, Sonarr, etc. in Docker containers. I'd be OK with splitting work loads between the old and the new server, i.e. solely running Plex on the old rig and everything else on the new. What should I consider? I understand that if I go with a Ryzen setup, I loose Intel Quick Sync which is good for Plex and will have to get a (2nd) GPU for transcoding, or eventually tell my transcoding users to piss off. If I go with Intel, I'm likely going to pay more and lose gaming performance if I'm not mistaken. Is there a better preference in this case?
  4. For me, it wasn't set up with a network type (bridge or host for example). My log still says "Bazarr starting.." but after changing the network type, I can access the webgui which is currently hanging at the same place as @t33j4y
  5. I have no experience in power lines, but I've heard that they're terrible. Can I expect a solid 100 mbps connection in a brand new house?
  6. I've recently moved to a new apartment and have no space nor ethernet ports where I can put my server. Instead of connecting my unRAID server directly through a cable, I'd like to utilize my AC Wi-Fi, hence the question: is any of these PCI-e Wi-Fi cards available in unRAID?
