Hoping in to follow, I'm seeing random hangs since going to 6.9.1, always seems to indicate a USB issue, but drive tested fine. I see my USB Nic drop off at the same time. Will move to another controller next time it locks up.

Just wanted to chime in with a Thank You for this post. Had my mainboard brick on a failed firmware update, was able to replace with a newer board, and everything booted up cleanly after the swap!

Happy B-day! Newer user, just switched over in March of this year, was linux software raid 5 for 11 years and started feeling the storage crunch. I switched due to the flexibility, great price and awesome community. 44TB and growing!
