How is the server handling the load, im on a Samsung note 5 att and refreshing sometimeso takes 1 minute or more.  Not bad

    Just curious.

At first it was nice and fast.. now that old URL is auto-forwarded its a little slower... likely several background tasks still happening.

  2. Thanks binhex.

Yup, I've set up Siphon for Chrome perfectly and it won't connect despite the Deluge web UI working perfectly.

Where do I set the lan range? Is this part of the Deluge Docker confit on Install?

    Thanks.

Lan range is set in the docker edit window in the unraid webgui.

  3. ... I restrict them to a specific disk so that I can create a backup share (i.e. pictures_backup) on a different disk and rsync the contents weekly.

This statement of course begs a comment that "a 2nd copy on the same system is NOT a backup !!"

... however, you clearly understand that, based on your follow-up comment:

... Obviously they are backed up off system as well.

... and it is true, of course, that having a 2nd copy on a different disk helps reduce the likelihood of data loss on the UnRAID server.    Do you have dual parity on that server?  (That would actually be better protection than a 2nd copy of the data -- although you could of course do both)

3 data drives + 1 parity currently (+ 1 cache disk). Dont think I'll be going to dual parity as its not worth the investment and my Q25 would then be out of SATA ports....

  4. I do not, however, restrict any shares to a specific disk => there's no advantage to that in terms of management of the content; and that way none of my shares ever run out of space.

I do this only for a few shares that I KNOW will not be large (i.e. pictures and documents).

I restrict them to a specific disk so that I can create a backup share (i.e. pictures_backup) on a different disk and rsync the contents weekly. This gives me a pseudo hot backup.

Obviously they are backed up off system as well.

  5. The linuxserver.io plex docker updates to latest upon restarting the docker, unlike the LT docker which needs to be rebuilt.

Are you sure about that? I thought they reverted to manual weekly builds. Still better than LT which doesn't have a defined update schedule.

Just tested it myself. I was still on 1.3.4, restarted the docker and am now on 1.4.1

  6. Hi all, I am still a little confused on the Plex Pass update schedule. So today Plex released 1.4.1 as a mainline release for "Plex Pass Members" which I am. But I also remember reading something here that the Dockers can not distribute Plex Pass releases because then everyone (including non PlexPass users) could just install the Docker and use the features?

So when this Docker gets updated will it be to 1.3.4 (the latest non PlexPass version) or 1.4.1? I really want the DVR functionality on my UnRaid version, so I don't have to keep a little linux server running just for DVR.

Also, if Dockers can never have the PlexPass version what's the best way for me to get that version running on UnRaid? The UnRaid release from Plex uses the old method for installing plugins?

There seems to be no definitive answer on how to do this. Every time I start digging into how to do this I seem to get stuck in a loop of everyone saying to do it a different way.

The linuxserver.io plex docker updates to latest upon restarting the docker, unlike the LT docker which needs to be rebuilt.

  7. Have you figured a way to make this work? I don't know how to split each output for different VM's. I use it only for one VM.

Pass through the hardware to the primary VM, and run the second headless VM full screen in an RDP session on the second monitor.

While that would work for display, it won't for input (i.e. keyboard / mouse)...right (or am I missing something)?

  8. This is interesting.

I ended up getting a G.Skill RipjawsX 2x8GB set clocking in at PC2133 with 9-11-11-31 timings.

Does anyone have any idea why MemTest 86 (the one built into the boot image on my unRAID USB stick) is reporting:

    RAM: 630 MHz (DDR3-1261) - BCLK: 94
    Tmings: CAS 9-9-10-24 @ 128-bit Mode

At first, I added the 2 sticks in with the existing PC1600 memory that was in there. Then, after a few minutes, it hit me just how slow that was, so I shut down the machine and pulled the older, slower memory out, and it still reports the same DD3-1261 speed and odd timings.

I went into the BIOS settings and set the AMP (AMD's equivalent of Intel's XMP) to Auto. As I understand it, that's supposed to take maximum advantage of the memory's clock speed.

Because that's what the AUTO setting set it to. If you want to pump it up to mem spec you'll have to do it manually, but i wouldnt bother as you're likely to sacrifice stability for 0.001% faster memory access.

  9. I'm having a similar problem to some other people I've read, but scanning through 20-30 pages of this thread I haven't been able to find a solution that works for me.

I can't access the WebUI from my LAN (haven't tested from outside the network yet). When I have VPN set to disabled, everything works fine. Once I enable it though I can't get in to the WebUI. I'm positive my user name and password is correct. I use NordVPN for my provider.

Note: I am VERY new to this, all I've done is configure unRAID, install and configure PLEX, install and configure OpenVPN (for remote access to the server), and now installed Deluge. I tried turning off the OpenVPN docker just to be sure something wasn't interfering, no change though.

I tried port 1198 default, and 1194 which I found in a NordVPN DD-WRT setup guide on their website. Not sure what else to do. I just followed a YouTube video from "Spaceinvader One" and it just all works first try in the video, so I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I haven't done anything else, just loaded the docker from the Community Applications, then did the basic configuration following the video, very simple stuff.

This is from the supervisord.log, but I'm not even sure if I'm pulling the right thing. Hopefully this is what is needed, I'd really appreciate some help, thanks!

  10. Just updated to 6.3.1 and Docker is broken on my system:

    • Settings -> Docker, Enable Docker is set to Yes but Status still shows as Stopped.
    • Going to the Docker tab all I get is the header and tabs. Under that is completely white
    • Dashboard under Apps shows "No apps available to show"
    • Dashboard under System Status, Docker is shown as "Not available"

I downloaded 6.3.1 again and copied over to my boot thumbdrive and removed all plugins but no change in result.

    Any ideas?

I ran into this when I downgraded from 6.3.0 back to 6.2.4. To resolve do the following:

    1. Stop docker (even if it's stopped, you want the webgui to show it as disabled too).

    2. Delete your docker.img.

    3. Reboot machine.

    4. Enable dockers

    5. Re-install your dockers, look for the my-* templates to retain all settings.
