Agreed, this is a longer RC in a very long while. Reminds me of the unRaid 5.x version days.
This Linux 5.x kernel is a mess and not something Limetech has control over. Think they were looking for changes in the kernel before promoting RC3 to the user community.Wasn't trying to be an a$$, only inform.

Interesting, it's because that's when the skeleton post for this release was created. As we proceed with development and testing, I update the post as we go along. Normally I do this in a separate internal "test board" and then select/copy/paste into a new post here, but this time I just started it here to begin with and marked it "hidden" and until today when I "un-hid" it.
There is also this 7th post of the thread, where Tom answered why this post showed Sept 6th instead of the Nov 1st release date for 6.10.RC2. RC2 is 4 months old, from release date.

FYI - if memory serves me right the 6.7.x series had SQLite corruption, and will corrupt docker sqlite DB's. Either go back to 6.8.3 or to 6.6.7.
Unraid OS version 6.10.0-rc3 available

added clarification about limetech direction
Not in the 6.10 series.
There was a Poll a while back asking which one of three items more people wanted, for 6.11, believe ZFS won in that polling. But doesn't mean that is the direction Limetech is going.
