  1. How do I completely remove the plexpass Docker? I keep trying to do a clean re-install but each time I, Remove (and delete image), and then re-install Plex inherits old config info...I want to wipe out all former traces...any steps on how to do this? I've also gone in through FileZilla and manually deleted the whole binhex-plexpass folder from my appdata, but this didn't seem to help either. Thanks
  2. No luck swapping out Prefences files, I'll try a fresh install and see if backing up my PMS folder structure and swapping it back in will work. Thanks.
  3. Hello and thanks. I already tried to reinstall. No luck. Editing the container didn't seem to provide any changes either. Unless there is something specific I should edit that I missed. Can you share what your preferences. Xml file looks like? Id like to try and recreate mine.
  4. Hello. I had a power outage and my Preferences.xml file was wiped out to 0Kb. I don't have a backup for it (whap waaa, I know). I can't find the format it should be in to rebuild it, or seem to generate a new one. I don't actually know what all is usually contained within it. Can someone share an example of theirs or point me to what I should do to make a new one? Thanks
  5. Thanks for the support. I'll mark this as solved for now.
  6. Ah good test idea. So the memory issue no longer occurs on 6.9.2, but I think that's becuase the mce errors seem to get logged at a lower verbosity level than in 6.10. Though I still have them. I've attached updated log if that helps at all. May 20 08:23:15 Tower kernel: rcu: Hierarchical SRCU implementation. 7. Thanks for the help, and posting correction. Fair enough. So far as I know, power is fine, the server has been up for months. It's also running through a battery backup and power regulator so it should be quite stable. And I agree it seems like hardware, I'm just not sure how to diagnose which/what hardware is the issue aside from just replacing the CPU (if that is the issue).
  8. I have attached diagnostics. I know there are mce errors in the log, but after an upgrade my log memory is maxed out, that didn't happen before. I don't know what to do about the mce errors, if anyone can help me narrow down what the issue might be, I'd be really grateful. I'm hoping correcting that will help reduce the memory utilization. syslog.1.txt tower-diagnostics-20220519-1214.zip

  10. Hello. I have been trying to troubleshoot some mce errors in my logs, while my server seems to be running okay, I would like to fix whatever issue is being identified here. After updating to 6.10 I got some more details now. 12. This error has been ongoing for months, it's not new per se. But I is about the only thing in my logs now that's something other then good.
  13. No apparant issues with unRaid performance but I would like to find and fix the error. Looking over the log I can't tell what the problem might be. Posting output for any suggestions, thanks in advance. mcelog.txt

  15. I don't know how to check how big I made the Docker image, but right now it is at 11.2GB. The only Docker I have adjusted recently was Plex, and I think the disk utilization issue might have been with the Key 1 value in Plex. I saw that it can be better to transcode to /tmp so I added the Key 1, but didn't include a forward slash after the /tmp, I updated it now to read /tmp/ maybe that was the issue with the warning?
  16. Running a 4k file stops and buffers every 10 seconds. I have a Docker high image disk utilization warning in the Dashboard. I ran the I/O checks I could...IOTOP and DSTAT require GLIBC 2.33, and despite having all of the packages installed for DevTools and NerdTools they won't run, and I don't know how to install GLIBC 2.33. I have included screenshots of what I have, and I also have included my PMS debug logs if that's of help. Thanks for any suggestions. Plex Media Server Logs_2021-08-23_15-48-16.zip
  17. Thanks binhex! I don't see any extra logging options in Unraid/Docker aside from Debug level within Plex Settings, is that where I should tweak logging? I'll also try and run some of the io tools you suggested.
  18. Is this the right place to post questions for support? I recently moved Plex to Docker and it's been working great. I have had several recent issues however with buffering whereas I didn't prior to migration. I am trying to understand where the bottleneck (if any) is coming from. From the Unraid Dashboard, all performance data seems to be in good shape. Plex Dashboard shows all is well too. Yet I have buffering, on DirectPlay as well as Transcoded content. How do you suggest I work through to find the source of the issue that is causing buffering to occur? I am attaching my Docker Config screenshot, a modified version of my Plex Dashboard, as well as a screen shot of my Unraid Dashboard while several streams are running if that helps. Thanks for you insight!
  19. Ah ha! That makes total sense, I never needed to set it up that way when using Sonarr as it pulled from a single Downloads folder. That is the missing piece alluding me. Thank you Squid!!

  21. If I do it was not something I did intentionally. Usually SAB downloads to a Download folder and then Sonarr (or whatever) picks up and moves/manages the file from there. So Sonarr has the relative permissions, but since I can't use Sonarr to manage sports, I was hoping to have SAB just unpack and move the games for me, which is where this permission issue is coming from and why I think I haven't run into it before.
  22. Hello. I have been using Unraid with SABNZBD for years now and don't have any issues with my movies and tv shows and various folders. However I am trying something new and have created a share called MLB and have SABNZBD setup using a specific Category for MLB content, and am using the Folder/Path option to specify where I want the content stored. I am pointing SAB to put MLB Categorized content in /mnt/user/MLB. When I try and use the SAB browser I get to /mnt and the contents are blank, so I cannot have it write to the /user/MLB location and I get a 'permission denied: /root' error in SAB. I feel like I need a way to grant SAB read/write access to this Share (though I haven't had to do that with Movies or TV Shows) so I think I am missing some fundamental understanding here about how to setup and use a Share. Is my share in the /mnt path? And if so, why would I not be able to browse to it? I know this is marginally related to SAB, but I am looking for support here for the Share I created and how to let a third-party application browse to it, as I think that is my issue. Thanks for any help/suggestions. Screenshots attached of configurations from Share and SAB. Error output from SAB, in case this helps... 23. This has been happening for a while and I'm finally annoyed enough to try and solve it. It seems my fan spins up every few minutes while my ssd cache drive surges with some writing activity and then it spins down again. I have disabled all dockers to see where the writes are coming from but can't find anything, I have used File Activity and it shows nothing. in 40 minutes of up time my cache has had 17k writes to 968 reads...any suggestions as to how to find where these writes are coming from? Recent diags attached Thanks Edit: This is an intermittent issue. Of course after troubleshooting for an hour this morning as soon as I broke down and posted this up, the issue has stopped. It does come back and will again, it might be a day, or a week. Hopefully there is still some useful info in the logs, or a suggestion as to a good plugin to monitor or try and track this down. My MOBO (LENOVO ThinkServer TS140) doesn't have PWM or any sort of good monitors unfortunately either. tower-diagnostics-20200403-1047.zip
  24. Ah interesting...okay that makes sense. Thank you for taking the time to look at that. It is now moving correctly with the shares all set to Yes. I'll set them back and check my configs for Radarr/Sonarr. Thank you again.
