Did you use this for UnRaid or HTPC or both? I currently have a dual core AMD HTPC, and I've got and HDMI headshake issue where I've got to reboot it every time to get the correct sound to play. I've Googled everything to try to find a solution and nothing. I'm wondering if this set up would have the same issue or not?

[Support] Linuxserver.io - Plex Media Server

So, click on update, and it states there's no update. Changed the version, restart and still doesn't update, but there is a new update for Plex. I guess I'll just have to be patient! -

Update: I found the issue why Plex was not updating my TV Shows. The container volume was changed by me from having space to no space. As soon as I changed it from /TVShows to /TV Shows, it started working. -

Tried to add a new TV episode tonight and Plex refused to acknowledge the new file in season folder. Looked on Plex site and found others complaining about this latest version too. Mods were asking for logs so I load up the appdata share and while drilling in to the folder I noticed a .lock file. Looks like the permissions failed to finish? Anyway I investigate further and find that ALL my TV shows are shown as "unavailable" in Plex. Its like it can't read that share at all. Movies are fine it seems. I removed Linuxserver.io Plex docker and reinstalled Needo Plex docker. Presto chango, all my TV shows are back and it found the new episode. Same version of Plex. Clearly something failed in the switch to Linuxserver.io and failed silently. Having the same issue. Moves are fine, but added new TV Show files, and it won't update. -

Out of interest can you post your mappings, because I thought you weren't using spaces in your share names, which was the cause of the issue that has been fixed. I do use spaces for my TV Shows folder share. mnt/user/Media/TV Shows -

It's working now. Thank you. I've been contacted by family members because Plex isn't working all day. -

So the solution would be to remove the spaces from your shares. Only thing I can think of right now. I don't think that's going to help since none's version of Plex Media Server will install. Every time I tried to install it, I get an orphan image. -

Taking the spaces away, and even putting move spaces doesn't do anything. The issue I've got now, is that I can't install anyone's version of Plex. I keep getting an orphan image! -

Attached is my full diagnostic server log. I found out that drive 1 is having some sector issues, but nothing showed up on the dashboard. I will be replacing it later today. However, I don't think this has anything to do with not being to re-instal Plex. Would I need to delete everything related to Plex from the config and appdata folders? I've tried to install LimeTech and 2 other Plex plugins via docker, and I am not able to get to install. Thanks for all the help. tower-diagnostics-20160305-0351.zip -

The same issue and error. I also get no docker image for Plex. I only get an orphan image. -

I deleted the two orphan images. I added Plex via Community Applications, and I only get another orphan image with Command: root@localhost:# /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.docker.manager/scripts/docker run -d --name="PlexMediaServer" --net="host" --privileged="true" -e TZ="America/Los_Angeles" -v "/mnt/cache/appdata/plexmediaserver":"/config":rw -v "/mnt/user/Media/Movies":"/Movies":rw -v "/mnt/user/Media/TV Shows":"/TV Shows":rw limetech/plex Unable to find image 'Shows:/TV:latest' locally Invalid repository name (TV), only [a-z0-9-_.] are allowed -

Yeah, I can't install Plex. I've double checked all my volume mappings, and this is what I get: When I go to the docker section there is no Plex application at all. -

Updated to the latest UnRaid version 6.1.9. Re-booted my server, I noticed Plex had been stopped. So, instead of me re-starting it, I clicked on "forced update." After I did that, Plex docker was no longer available. I tried re-installing it, and nothing happens. I went into my flash and delete everything Plex. I tried to re-install again, and nothing. So, I went into my phone's deleted pics, and I was able to find the Volume mappings. Good thing I did because /config was mapped wrong lol. However, I get this at the end root@localhost:# /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.docker.manager/scripts/docker run -d --name="PlexMediaServer" --net="host" --privileged="true" -e TZ="America/Los_Angeles" -v "/mnt/cache/appdata/plexmediaserver":"/config":rw -v "/mnt/user/Media/Movies":"/Movies":rw -v "/mnt/user/Media/TV Shows":"/TV Shows":rw limetech/plex Unable to find image 'Shows:/TV:latest' locally Invalid repository name (TV), only [a-z0-9-_.] are allowed What does "unable to find image 'Shows:TV:latest' locally" mean? -

When you update Plex, and then do a stop / start, the WebGui takes a little while to work. It takes longer if you have a large movie / tv show / etc library. -

Here you go-- I just ran across this last week as well as I was using another source. http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=41609.msg394769#msg394769 Hope that helps! EDIT: And I just found my issue as well--for anyone facing a similar issue: there's a VARIABLE you can add (at least for Linuxserver) that states "latest" or "plexpass". I was getting prompted to "install manually" then found the variable under the advanced view of the docker's properties for Plex. Soon as I changed it from latest to plexpass I went from 9.15.2 to 9.15.3 Many thanks to Linuxserver for this repository--MUCH appreciated! Plex has been a huge leap forward for me from the years of using my Dune. Thanks. I will try it out when I get home later tonight. -

I just realized that I am using the Limtech version of plex, which apparently only updates the public version of Plex. How do I go about switching from Limtech to Linuxserver Plex docker? -

Thanks I was able to input and save those variables, which I never had before. However, it still doesn't update even if I change the version to 0.9.15.3.1674-f46e7e6 and press save. Thereafter, I stop and re-started the docker app. I went to the WebGui / Server and the version still 0.9.15.2. -

So for the past week or so I've been having some issues with Plex buffering a lot lately. This is something that has not happened before in or out of network. The devices having issues are my Vizio and Samsung smart TV's, which have the Plex app. Both connected via wire. I went on to my UnRaid docker and checked for updates, and it stated it had the latest. I forced it to update, and I noticed that the container ID changed. Then I went to the Plex WebGui, settings, server, and I noticed it states How do I go about updating manually? -
Unraid keeps not showing up in the Network folder on Windows 10
GFOviedo replied to jakebake's topic in General Support
I'm going back to Win 7 as well. Too many issues with Win 10 with my HTPC and main PC. I lose connection with my server every time I access it for the first time. I've got to wait for a few minutes, and it comes back again. I've already changed network permissions. -

Keep them, because these can be re-used in the new set up (will save you to redo all information collection) Thank you sir.
