It does, you have to turn those features on. Update has been publish. Please always refer to the wiki for info https://github.com/MediaBrowser/Emby.Build#unraid-automatic-upgrades

    Not true.

Please note...It seems that the docker template container name is not set to be emby-server, it is set to be EmbyServer.  As such, the command in the referenced link is not correct.  It should be...

    echo "0 2 * * * docker exec EmbyServer update" | sudo tee -a /var/spool/cron/crontabs/root

I just reverified by pulling the template again and it was set for EmbyServer.  (Unless I am totally missing something.)

  2. Hi All...

    UnRaid - 6.3.1

I just moved to Emby and it is seems that the Docker file is downloading ver Version 3.2.0.0 and the current is 3.2.1.  It says on the main server screen to shut down and upgrade manually.   Why is the current version not in the repository?  (emby/embyserver)

I also thought auto update would have taken care of it over night.  No?   Even clicking on check for upgrades in UnRaid for the docker says it is current.

So, how do I go about updating it?  I usually do not have such an issue on the repository and/or auto updates.  If I click on the message it just brings me to the Emby site for downloads and shows command lines.  So I did what it said...

docker run -it --rm -v /usr/local/bin:/target emby/embyserver instl

...but no idea what it actually did as it did not do an upgrade.  (Do I now need to remove anything inside UnRaid?)

So I then reinstalled the docker just in case.

  3. I did finely find the CA Auto Update and it is only for 6.2 and above.  As such, it was not installed nor can I install it.

As far as upgrading UnRaid, I have read a lot of bad stories on the update not going well. :)  But I will research again.

Thank you kindly guys for your help here and for all you do for the UnRIAD community.

Don't forget the bad stories are susceptible to reporting bias.  Far less likely to report that an update has been uneventful.

So very true. (Not just here of course.)  I am the founder of AVSForum (among other sites), thus I surely know how people are alway quick to complain about things...especially in the CE world. :)

It is just so very scary when you have all this data and you are about to do a major version change.  When you read though some of the issues...well...scary.  Even the newly released version, being just a minor vs major, has 22 pages of replies already.  Just reading the first few can give one pause. :)    I will likely give it a try tomorrow as we live on the road full time (motor coach) and we are currently parked for the night.  When we arrive in Fredericksburg TX tomorrow, we will be staying put for two weeks. So that would be a better time. :)  (And yes, I shut down the server when we travel.)

Wish me luck and thank you guys again. Oh know...Now I will have a new learning curve on the new platform.  LOL

  5. Thanks...So do I needed to run reinstalls now and again?  (LOL...So confusing to read Up-to-date and it is not.)

Set up CA Auto Update to handle it all for you on a schedule.

Hi...I am sorry, not sure what that is.  Is that another Docker?

    Community applications plugin

Oh, yea, I have that.  Thanks Guys....Really.  The issue is I seem to have the cur (rent version of Community Apps, 2017.01.29, however I do not have that option in the settings area. (As per where the manual says it should be.)  Running UnRAID 6.1.9 so not sure if that may be the issue.

  6. Hi....

Just read your note as I was just running edits updates on both and now both are running.  SAB is a new beta version it seems, 1.2.1 Beta.  So it surly is not what I had before. :)

MySQL is also running now. Not sure on the version but at least it is running.

Side note...I thought that is why the system checked each time it started, meaning I thought it was looking for updates and this would not need to manually run a new install.

Also did not think of such a things as the Docker Screen reports...  up-to-date  ...for everything.  So again, thought I was good. :)

    Thanks.

  7. Hi...

So, rebooted my server and having an issue with SAB loading and even MySQL.  It seems either it can not get past this....

We are now refreshing packages from apt repositorys, this *may* take a while

Yet no issue with Sonaar, CouchPotato, or CrashPlan loading up at all.

Is there any way to get around having it check so it will start up?  At this point I am dead in the water as Kodi uses MySQL.

    Thanks

  8. Not a Unifi user myself,  just pulled it and it's 5.3.8.  Which is the current "must have" version but will undoubtedly become the older "need a newer version" eventually.  ::)

Thats good.  The point being, to start at least current.  Upgrade will come, but I surely did not want to start from an older version. ;)

Thanks for checking.  Maybe someone needed to update the version info if it has not been done.

    Thanks again for your help.

  9. Hi...

I just updated the plugin to ver 2016.12.05 and when I go into it at the top is the following error...

Warning: array_diff(): Argument #2 is not an array in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix/include/DefaultPageLayout.php(292) : eval()'d code on line 103 Warning: natsort() expects parameter 1 to be array, null given in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix/include/DefaultPageLayout.php(292) : eval()'d code on line 104 Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix/include/DefaultPageLayout.php(292) : eval()'d code on line 192

    Yet it seems to run.

  10. Sorry to say this is happening again...

  11. The ATA7 errors are from your cache SSD, so unrelated to the parity sync errors.

I would start by switching your parity disk from the Marvell controller to the unused onboard controller, leave only the cache disk there, and see if issue goes way.

Hi...Just wanted to mentioned that I made this change and we will see what happens.

BTW...You mentioned the ATA7 errors were on my cache drive...I do not think the drive is failing...but not really sure what the error is saying.  Cable issue?  Drive?  Something else?  (Or are these errors of no real concern. Docker is using the Cache drive.)

    Thank you.
