  1. It runs well for a few hours, then randomly, it starts to overload cpu till it finally crashes Reverting meanwhile to 6.11.5 Testing 6.12.1 and added (i5 11400): echo "options i915 enable_dc=0" >> /boot/config/modprobe.d/i915.conf I will post if it keeps crashing or not. 2. I really appreciate your reply. Thank you. I guessed it was something related to that, because it mentions the whole time, macvlan and netfilter it's time to deploy vlans in my network. It´s something i always had pending. I think my network hardware is compatible. I've got an HP Procurve J9028B as my homelab switch and a Mikrotik router and a tp-link switch for the house rooms. I'm not an expert on vlans and I wouldn't like to lose connectivity, especially on the server and my workstation where I configure everything. Do you recommend any guide/book to start with ? Muchas gracias Jorge.
  3. Hello I've been running Unraid 1 year rock solid, a few updates in between, no major issues. Some flaws with containers but I always got it working back using backups, but not this time. I can't figure out what's going on. Every couple of days my server freezes and I have to hard reset using button. At first I thought it was because I added 3 new disks and an HBA (LSI 9201-16e) but I removed and the sympthoms persisted. So I added them again. I didn't find anything rare in the logs until yesterday that I enabled mirror to the flash drive and today the problem appeared but it doesn't have hang yet. At least I have a backup of the files. I get a connection refused when I try to access the frontend when I restore the database and nextcloud to a couple of weeks ago. caronte-diagnostics-20210209-2003.zip more_logs.txt
  4. As far as I've been using it, a few months, I'm very happy. Easy to setup, easy to use, easy to maintain, there is a lot of applicantions ready to use (just fill the docker form)... Something that can be improved is the way you automate tasks. I mean, you can do it using the user scripts plugin, but it should be a better gui to do it, not everyone knows cron. I think it should be better integrated into the system with a fancy gui, some kind of enhanced scheduler where you can select a default/pre-created task from a list (parity-check, mover, ssd trim, speedtest, check for updates, check for problems ), and a custom task loading an script (check database integrity in a docker container, execute rclone to do a copy to a remote server... ). Everything in a single place and easy to see in the blink of an eye, similar to the docker table. So I expect to see a better scheduler.
  5. For all those having problems and everything seems to be well configured. I figured out a dumb solution, I was hitting my head with the table (figuratively speaking) at the moment I got it working. Disable data saving on your android phone or iphone. Invite me a coffee I've been 2 hours trying different ports, different settings, removing tunnels, creating them again, reinstalling wireguard. All was fine... it was the damn phone. I hate this feeling.
  6. I figured it out by myself... and I think I found some kind of bug on how Unraid manages NIC's. I just disabled secundary on board interface in the BIOS (My motherboard has 2 Gigabit on board), I did a reboot and voila. it's working I don't know really why, but I think, it is related to this: DOCKER_ENABLED="yes" DOCKER_IMAGE_FILE="/mnt/cache/docker.img" DOCKER_IMAGE_SIZE="25" DOCKER_APP_CONFIG_PATH="/mnt/cache/appdata" DOCKER_APP_UNRAID_PATH="" DOCKER_CUSTOM_NETWORKS="eth1 " DOCKER_LOG_ROTATION="yes" DOCKER_LOG_SIZE="50m" DOCKER_LOG_FILES="2" DOCKER_AUTHORING_MODE="no" DOCKER_USER_NETWORKS="remove" DOCKER_DHCP_BR0="192.168.1.128/25" That's my docker.cfg. Look at line 6: DOCKER_CUSTOM_NETWORKS="eth1 " With bonding enabled it was blank (it wasn't able to pull any data neither) and it filled itself with that value at the moment I disabled bonding, but it wasn't working, then I noticed that Unraid manages physical interfaces as eth0, eth1... Maybe that parameter was in conflict with my secundary NIC... So I think that there is a bug related to that, maybe Unraid is not prepared properly to handle multiple NIC's and docker... I would like to use the secundary NIC in a future, maybe I should experiment with that parameter, maybe setting it to eth2 does the trick. I expect this info is useful to someone. Unraid doesn't like dual NIC 😜 Now I will keep testing the system, I like pretty much all till now. I'll probably buy one license when trial mode ends.
  7. Stopped docker and vm services, disabled bonding, restarted docker and vm, reboot, and there is no difference, I get the same error caronte-diagnostics-20190911-1642.zip
  8. Hello I didnt want to open a thread about this but I'm getting mad trying to resolve it, more than a day reading the forum faq and other external forums. I installed Unraid a couple of days ago, it is on trial mode, I've not purchased it yet, but I think that's not the problem. My Unraid can't pull any docker image from Community Applications (I can install plugins) Neither from terminal (docker pull hello-world) I know what you are telling me...'"Change DNS to 8.8.8.8"", I already did on Unraid, on my router... Same error result, but instead 1.1.1.1:53 it says 8.8.8.8:53 I thought maybe it's not my network, so I tried docker on a windows desktop, and it was working in less than 20 minutes, then I thought maybe it's a problem with the server itself, so I run a debian vm, I installed docker and it was working ok. So I'm missing something and I don't know what. I tried Unraid 6.7.2 and 6.7.3rc2, same result. I don't know what else to do. caronte-diagnostics-20190911-1356.zip
