I have veeeery strong password on the root login in the webGui. But, how many times can a person try to login to the webUi and fail before it blocks them or locks somehow? Am I making sense? 😕

I copied a bunch of video files from a USB drive to my Unraid movies user share. I can see the files on the movies user share in Windows File Explorer and I can see the files in the movies user share in the Unraid webGUI. However, when I run re-scan folders in Plex, it never sees the files when they're on the cache drive. I run Unraid Mover, then re-scan in Plex and only then will it see the files. Is this some setting I have wrong or something about how external apps are able/unable to see files on the Unraid cache drive? Thanks for any advice 🙂

Dell Precision 5520 laptop, 32GB RAM, 2TB SSD drive, Xeon quad core. Not an old machine. Running Unraid USB Creator, trying to install on Sandisk Cruzer Fit 16GB. I formatted USB with "default allocation" and named it "UNRAID". Tried in both USB ports. Sits on "Syncing files..." forever. Why?... EDIT... Switched to a 10+ year old desktop PC and it worked.

I think I had started changing the cache settings, walked away, came back and created the diagnostics.zip. The prefer/yes cache settings are all correct now. New diagnostics.zip is attached. Running the ls command above, I get... I have Mover running each night at 345am. Here are my shares this morning. They all show 6TB (what I would expect) except top 2. Why do my shares on 2TB drives show only 40GB free? One of them, the one at bottom (see attached screen clip) "...tvshows01" shows correct full 6TB size. What is happening with the other shares? Why only 40GB free? Thanks for any advice. I'm stumped 😕 Follow up: I just ran "Mover" which I thought was going to move files off my cache and onto the disks. Guess I'm wrong there. Now my shares show only 32.6GB free. I'm not sure what's happening.
