coming back to this. tried the linux ubuntu route with chatgpt. but having a lot of issue. it suggested i go back to unraid. and run it from unraid

monitor doesnt seem to be an option. the one screen i have doesnt seem to be able to connect to it. tried different ports. and still nothing.i know the screen works as of 24H ago. im feeling the fastest way may just be to rip the drives out and load it somewhere else. since its jbod, any chance i can just plug it another desktop or drive dock and read it from that?

I have an old unraid server that hasnt been touched in a couple years now. If I remember correctly, server was in Jbod. Data wasnt critical but more of a file dump than anything else. I tried turning it on and it seems to turn on fine, but when i tried to access it from the old link i had to that server, it doesnt seem to work anymore Is it possible to remove the drives, plug it into a hard drive dock and just rip the data off? It would be nice to have it, but not the end of the world. at most i would suffer some heartache and move on.
