I use UnRaid for my syslog server and one for my NAS for my network. It would be nice to have a log viewer, like the enhanced log viewer addon to view the logs that are generated by the other devices on the network without installing another apps(s) just to view the logs (I don't have this done, just collecting the logs). This would be a nice one stop shop for a syslog server and an easy setup. I hope this can be easily accomplished since it makes for a quick easy setup. Thanks!

I would like to see a backup software feature. Example: Plug in a portable usb drive that the backup software marks as the backup device and does not add it to the array. Then you can schedule your backups and have a backup of your server. Mine is only 4TB total with 2TB of data. Could be modified for others with bigger systems.

Update: I forgot to mention that this only happens on my IPhone 7, whether on the local network or the VPN. Computers, require a login.

I use OpenVPN on PFsense to access my shares at home while I am away. But, the shares do not ask for authentication (user name and password) like they do when I am on my LAN at home. I have a VPN username and password that logs me in but that username and password is not setup in UnRaid. I thought it would ask me for my username and password to access my shares. Is the security issue on the VPN side or UnRaid side, or do I have a lack of understanding of how shares work on a VPN?
