  1. I have attached an external USB HDD to my Unraid server. I mounted it with UD. I would like make this drive available to other computers on my network which are a mix of Windows and Linux. I have enabled SMB sharing in the plugin settings, the settings are below: SMB Sharing - Public Case-sensitive names : Auto force user=nobody : None I still can't see this drive from any computer. Is there something else I need to do?
  2. Thanks for the advice, will follow that.
  3. Strange as it may seem, I cannot post to Plugin support forums. Are they restricted?
  4. Thanks. I tried the SMB Settings inside UD. I have used the following SMB Settings in UD: SMB Sharing - Public Case-sensitive names : Auto force user=nobody : None But no luck. I can't see my drive as an SMB share when I browse network from another computer. I can try posting to UD plugin support as well. Maybe I am missing some setting?
  5. I have an external HDD connected to my Unraid via USB which is NOT part of the array. It is mounted and available on Unraid under /mnt/disks/USBDrive. I sit possible for me to share this drive or a directory pn it to other computers on my network as an SMB share? I have been breaking over my head over this and looked through various posts but unable to figure out if this can be done and if so how. When I look at SHARES option in the menu, I ses ethe option of including or excusing disks in the array when I try to create a new share but the USB attached drive is not an option.
  6. I have been successfully running Unraid for a few years. A week back, on eof my drives went offline and was shown as being emulated. I replaced it with a new drive and the data got rebuilt. To my surprise I noticed all my docker went away. They got automatically downloaded but all the user specific data is gone. i.e. appdata looks like a fresh install. Have I lost my appdata? Why would this happen since the server didn't fail really - one drive failed and Unraid rebuilt the array. So why were my dockers containers reset. Same with VM.
