  1. The firmware update may have solved the issue. An hour in to a preclear without any issues yet. The help is much appreciated. Still unsure why it was working in the past.
  2. I'll go ahead and do the update, but not sure that this would explain it previously working and now not working?
  3. Attached is the log after attempting a preclear on each of the new 10tb drives. jgl-diagnostics-20230108-0438.zip
  4. Hello all and thanks in advance for any help, I'm having a bit of a weird problem with drives over 4tb. For the last year or so I've had an 8tb and 5tb drive as my parity drives, the largest other drives being 3tb. A couple weeks ago, both parity drives seemed to have failed one after the other with errors trying to read/write. I finally picked a pair of new 10tb drives and replaced them, and have the same issue, they seem fine for half an hour in to a preclear, or parity rebuild, then error out. Just for the heck of it, I tried an old 4tb drive I had and it works just fine. My best guess at this point is that something is wrong with my HBA, but I thought I should see if there is anything else I should check or do before ordering a new controller. Currently running version 6.8.3 (planning to update but didn't want to mess with it without the array in good health) Supermicro H8DA3-2 (dual six-core Opteron 2435) LSI 9210-8i HBA for drives over 2tb Running 25 data disks mostly through LSI sas 1 controllers and an HP Expander. All the data drives work fine. All the drives except two are 2tb or less. Two are 3tb that were previously my parity drives until replaced with the 5 and 8tb ones last year. The machine reads the other 3tb drives without a problem, but throws read/write errors with the 5tb, 8tb, and two 10tb drives. I've tried swapping cables about and the problem follows the drives, not the cables. As a side note, the sata on the mother board have never worked right, dropping drives. I originally used them for the larger parity drives, but had too many issues so stopped using them. I tried that with the new drives, and had the same issues so have given up on using those ports.
  5. This is late for the OP, but may be useful for anyone else with the same problem. For whatever reason, when using the binhex-plex server, possibly other dockers as well, the webUI option doesn't appear on the menu when the docker is running on a different IP from the UnRaid interface. Following Craftsman's instructions above will work just fine, however the menu option will still not appear. You simply need to type the IP of the plex server and the 32400 port of Plex into the address bar of your browser, for example if the plex server is set to use 10.0.1.124 as in the example posted above, type " 10.0.1.124:32400 " in the address bar of your browser to access Plex's WebUI. In my case I run my UnRaid server on a 4 port LAGG at 192.168.50.2 and my plex server on a 2 port LAGG on 192.168.50.5. To access the webUI 192.168.50.5:32400 will get me there, but the option does not appear on the docker container in UnRaid's WebUI. Have two four port NICs plus two more ports on my motherboard (10 ports total). While everything else works fine on the four port NICs, for whatever reason Plex runs super slow through them so I use the two onboard ports dedicated for Plex. Likely just need to get some Intel NICs in there, but low priority with everything else working just fine.
  6. Redirected here on my question, even though the rules seemed to state very clearly to post a new thread for a new question and not jump on an existing, unrelated, post. Hopefully this is the right place for the question: I'm unsure if the Dynamix System Temp plug in simply doesn't support my old hardware, or if there is some configuration I need to adjust somewhere. After installing the plug in, all temps are simply reported as "-48 C" at all times. Running a Supermicro H8DA3-2 with dual Operon 2435's (six core 2.6GHz) Unraid version 6.8.0, (though I had this same issue on 6.6.6 previously) The driver found for the sys temp plug in is: w83627hf This is my first post here, so if I need any other information, let me know. My server is a rather large mis-match of hardware assembled on the cheap, but I'm not sure that that should matter here. Over all it's not a huge issue, been running a year with it like this, but just replaced my CPU coolers with some with quieter fans and was curious what they run at now.
