taulen Posted December 17, 2020 Share Posted December 17, 2020 I have a small issue, when I first set up Unraid I had 2 ssd drives installed as a cache in raid1, it was a 250gb and 500gb disks, and eventually I decided to remove the 250gb to increase the cache size. The problem then was that I didnt properly uassign and remove this ssd drive before pulling it from the machine. So now Im stuck with 2 ssd cache devices, but 1 says "Not installed" and Im just not able to get this removed/unmounted, so I dont have to see this "empty" disk. Its not an issue for the working condition of the unraid, just a visual one for me. See the screenshots for more information. Do anyone have a suggestion to how I can get rid of the "Cache Not installed" line ? Quote Link to comment

taulen Posted December 17, 2020 Author Share Posted December 17, 2020 Hehe, I have read that probably 10 times, but sometimes you just need to get a kick in the back to "get it", my issue was that I had to re-order, and unassign the disk from Cache2, and assign it to Cache, that way Cache2 disappeared.
