flickdaddy
I've had Fix Common Problems throw this error several times in the couple months. Haven't ever seen it before, and I've been running my server since summer of 2019, and haven't done any hardware changes recently besides adding an additional drive to the array and an SSD cache drive last summer. My server also hasn't lost power or been turned off since I moved into my new place at the end of October, and I noticed the error the first time probably about a week or 2 after that. Haven't noticed any actual issues besides getting the error, so not sure if it means something bad is about to happen if I don't fix it, or if I can just ignore it. Also, after the first time I got this error (at the advice Fix Common Problems provides) I installed mcelog from NerdPack. This is my first time posting so please let me know if I'm forgetting any necessary info or if I posted this in the wrong section. Any help is greatly appreciated! I'm currently running Unraid 6.8.3. My diagnostic zip is attached below. carlunraid-diagnostics-20210128-0620.zip Quote Link to comment

flickdaddy
Thanks for the response! Good thing I don't currently rely on my server being up, so I'll be keeping it turned off until I get around to getting new RAM sticks. But, just to make sure I'm understanding this correctly, only the stick in the first slot ( DIMM 0) is throwing an error, correct? And if so, if I took that stick out and moved other 3 sticks to their appropriate slots, everything should be able to run fine correct? I've got 4 8GB sticks in now, but I can probably get by with running just 3 8GB sticks, or even just 2 sticks, for a little while. Edited January 29, 2021 by flickdaddy Quote Link to comment
