sacretagent Posted February 11, 2011 Share Posted February 11, 2011 HI Guys, just added another PCI card which brings me to 12 drives ... and Yep you have guessed it ... my USB drive is not any more in the boot list so i searched the forum and i found a thread that said with preparing the usb with the hp program and reinstall syslinux and unraid that he will be bootable as a removable device i have no real issue in trying this... but i saw BRIT a few week ago say something about disabling something in the BIOS and that than not all your drives show up any more and that then the USB is selectable... so before i go erasing my usb i would have liked to try that first .... but for the hell of it i can't find that thread back any more anybody know about which trick i am talking here about ? any help is greatly appreciated for any case backing up my usb already Quote Link to comment

sacretagent Posted February 11, 2011 Author Share Posted February 11, 2011 THX Joe L. no int 13 's on the sil3132 and adaptec cards as far as i could find so reformatted USB with HP tool and set to boot from removable device works OK preclearing now the 2 "older" 750 GB drives Quote Link to comment
