K1ngJony
So something weird has happened to my server overnight. I went to check everything on my server was running well but somehow things have disappeared. First thing I noticed was that my webgui is completely blank, I have the title bar but nothing else. None of the tabs show any info. I could see that next to "Registration" it said "flash device error", so I knew something had obviously gone wrong. The array and all dockers are still online though because I've been able to access Plex, OVPN, etc. I tried accessing the log via the webgui but it never loaded, so then I tried through both terminal and ssh using tail -f /var/log/syslog but same thing, never loaded. The only way I was able to get the log was using diagnostics So I transferred that to a share using mc and was able to retrieve it, but while I was in mc I noticed that when accessing /boot no files were present. Unfortunately I didn't get around making a backup of the flash drive (I've learnt my lesson), so hopefully it's not a dead usb and I can still recover my settings. Although I assume that is why I'm presented with the error, a dead or corrupt usb. The only command I ran, before discovering the missing boot files, was touch /var/local/emhttp/network.ini which I saw someone suggest on Reddit and figured was safe enough, but of course that didn't help. I'm on version 6.9.0-rc2. I've attached my diagnostics and a screen grab of the webgui. I hope my post is detailed enough. If not, please let me know what other info is needed to help diagnose the issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated. schirmer-nas-diagnostics-20210220-1145.zip Quote Link to comment

K1ngJony
Ok. Cheers! Hopefully a simple fix then. I'll try a 2.0 port and if that doesn't work then I just replace the drive. Will update when I can attempt the solution, as the server is currently in a remote location. Quote Link to comment
