Mover not moving?

Featured Replies

I've got a small 128GB SSD as my cache and it's full. I had Mover scheudled to run hourly and even when I hit move now the cache drive is still showing as full. Is there anything I should be doing differently?

Please post the diagnostics: Tools -> Diagnostics and also list the share names you expect data to be moved to the array.

Hello!

I've attached the diagnostic archive. The files in shares, "private" and "cache" should be moved to the array from the cache when the mover is invoked.

Thank you!

There can't be a share named cache, private share is correctly configured, so enable mover logging, run the mover an post new diags.

Also make sure you try without the mover plugin installed.

Thanks, I've disabled the CA Mover tuning plugin but had no other Mover plugins. I invoked Mover to no luck and have included my diagnostics. By the way Reduxx isn't an alt account of mine, must be someone with a similar problem.

The only shares that have files on the cache are all set to be prefer, which means that mover will try to move them TO the cache drive from the array (appdata, domains, whatever share starts with "U")

What space are you expecting to be seeing available?

Possibly, your VM vdisk isn't "sparse", so it has grown to be the maximum size that you've set (by default, it never shrinks, and only grows).  See here:

Thank you, I'm new to this and had thought cache sped things up. SABNZB had told me the disk was full for the incomplete folder. Disabling cache has unblocked it.
