February 18, 201115 yr I did a uname -a and noticed that the kernel is i686. i686 is a 32bit build right? Does the memory manager that unraid uses have the ability to index more than 4gb of ram? (32bit register limitations...)
February 18, 201115 yr Yes, unRAID has PAE enabled so it can address over 4GB, albeit with a slight performance hit that likely won't be noticed by anyone.
February 18, 201115 yr Author I only have 2gb atm... If I decide to put a VM on the box I will want to bump it up to like 6gb...
