Up and running using min.io.  Cool project.  First thing I did was add a photo to a note on mobile and it works great.  nice self-hosted, multiplatform note taking app.

If you wish I made a new docker with MinIO built right in the image so you don't need it seperate

I ran this container and get a 500 error right outta the gate.  Any suggestions?

I had to map the data path (-v /path/to/storage:/data) and then go into MiniIO and create the notea bucket. Up and running now.

Is set this up a couple days ago and spent a good while adding notes. Today I've woke up and gone to check it and everything is gone, I've checked trash and it's empty, then I've checked what min.io has and it's only got settings and tree.

The only thing I can think that could have caused this is the container has run an update in that time.

Any idea if that could be it and how to avoid it happening again?

I can now confirm that every container update will wipe all your notes

you need to add a path to store your data. New Path /path/to/storage : /data

I tried this but it still wipes everything on update...  can you post a screenshot of the configuration you made on this New Path ?

Edit:

never mind ... I'm a noob but I managed to make it work eventually
