May 19, 20215 yr I got "flash device error" in the upper right corner of the Unraid GUI. "Go to Registration page" doesn't work, nor any other page. Tried going to "Flash" share and it's empty. I can't get diagnostics through CLI because log goes to /boot, which is empty. syslog looks a mess. I managed to copy the flash backup minus bzroot and bzroot-gui files because it keeps restarting the Samba service. Any ideas? turn off the system, use the Flash Creator tool, then copy over the backup files to the thumb drive?
May 19, 20215 yr You should probably start by posting your diagnostics. It might provide more information about what happened.

May 19, 20215 yr Community Expert Flash drive dropped offline, if using a USB 3.0 port try USB 2.0 instead.
May 19, 20215 yr Author Shutdown and restart of the server was enough. I had some issues yesterday connecting/disconnecting external NVMe disks through USB enclosures. Probably this caused the issue. Thank you all!
