July 14, 20214 yr I just had my first big HW component failure. I came into my home office and smelled burnt electronics, and discovered my Unraid servers power supply was starting to smell. Luckily it doesnt appear any data is lost or anything, and no damage to any other componenets that I could see. I will see on Thur when the new power supply arrives. I've replaced hard drives now and then, but this is the first extended outage I've had with Unraid since I purchased it years ago.

July 15, 20214 yr Don't forget to replace all the cables, even if they seem compatible with the new PSU, they may be wired differently... or simply one of them might have been a contributing factor to the PSU failure
