Rajahal Posted April 1, 2011 Share Posted April 1, 2011 Like you said, it should work. I don't see any indication that it wouldn't. I'm very surprised to see that it can support both DDR2 and DDR3 RAM, I didn't think it was possible for a single board to support both... Link to comment

Only the AM2+. Might be wrong there. But, I am almost positive no motherboard can support DDR2 and DDR3 - that is typically a function of the chipset itself. Does look to have both types though... Maybe this mobo does does some or all of this, just seems very weird, and if it does, Jetway has done some serious customization to the board and chipset controllers. Link to comment

Fortunately, in the case of this mobo (not those two linked above, they are there just to show two other manufacturers that have a DDR2/DDR3 board) it supports DDR2 and DDR3. Link to comment

But, just seems weird to put all that effort into a mobo to support that wide of devices (DDR2 and DDR3) and sockets (AM2 and AM3)... Compatible sure, but how stable I wonder.
