ejspice
I've had unraid for years but building a new server from the leftovers of my desktop PC since I have a new one. I'm getting this error now when booting SYSLINUX 6.03 CHS 2014-10-06 Copyright (C) 1994-2014 H. Peter Anvin et al Failed to load ldlinux.c32 Boot failed: please change disks and press a key to continue Things I've tried already, that didn't work Disconnected all the SATA cables. Only thing plugged in is the usb key to boot Tried 2 different usb keys - both of them work on another computer. One of them is identical to my older working Unraid Server. Disabled USB3 Disabled USB options like keyboard etc Tried different USB Ports. I get a different error when i take the usb out, just to ensure that it is the correct usb key that is being detected. USB key is definitely FAT32, called UNRAID and I ran the make_bootable as admin in windows. Motherboard is a Gigabyte GA-790FXTA-UD5 Anyone got any ideas what I can try? Quote Link to comment
Squid
Try switching your boot type in the BIOS from Legacy to UEFI / vice-versa Quote Link to comment
ejspice
No mention of EUFI anywhere in the BIOS settings. Is that my problem? There is a "Legacy USB Storage Detect" option but turning it off means I don't detect the usb drive at all. Quote Link to comment
