December 10, 20214 yr Folks, i keep seeing these same two lines in my SYSLOG. Can someone tell me how i resolve them Dec 10 02:13:20 Tower kernel: traps: Plex Media Scan[4781] general protection fault ip:1479cbff07a6 sp:1479c6cb5888 error:0 in ld-musl-x86_64.so.1[1479cbfe0000+53000] Dec 10 03:40:01 Tower root: mover: array devices not mounted (as far as i know, all my disks are mounted & working fine - flash, parity, cache, data disks)
December 10, 20214 yr #1 - Typical Plex issue which is harmless. Happens all the time due to errors they make #2 - Post your diagnostics
December 14, 20214 yr Author @Squid Could i ask you to take a quick look at my Diagnostics file ? Its about the "mover: array devices not mounted" lines in SYSLOG.
December 14, 20214 yr You don't have user shares enabled in Settings - Global Share Settings. Using the server like that isn't an "issue" per se, but it is very oddball, especially since probably a lot of containers etc are going to reference /mnt/user/.... and if you're not careful and adjust every reference to instead be /mnt/diskX (or /mnt/cache) you're going to wind up in trouble.

December 14, 20214 yr Author @Squid @trurl Guys, i have never used user shares on my UnRaid system. Since 2009 i have used a disk share model exclusively. I like having an exact location for my music, video & data. I’m not a power user. I run Plex & a few utilities. It works for me, and i’m happy. Is this ‘mover - array devices not mounted’ thing related to user shares
December 15, 20214 yr Yes, except that if I set up my system as 6.9.2 or 6.10 the scheduled time mover runs doesn't log that error (but will display it if I simply run mover at the command prompt)
