I have a AsRock Creator W480 with i9-9000k CPU I have a monitor attached to the HDMI output on the motherboard I have no GPU installed I have booted unraid to OS with no GUI In my VM for the Graphics Card, I select Intel UHD Graphics 630. I get the following error: XML error: Attempted double use of PCI Address 0000:00:02.0 I do have Intel igpu top installed - but I dont use it for dockers. I think up to now it was used for just the GUI. Do I need to uninstall. I also have Intel GVT-g installed. I can set i915-GVTg-V5_4 (i915-GVTg_V5_4: VMEM: <128MB, 512MB>, up to 1920x1200) to my KodiPlex-Server When I go back into the VM edit and select Intel UHD Graphics 630 I get the same error. Does anyone have experience and could tell me how to make the UHD igpu hdmi out be used for my VM? Do I need to delete Intel GPU Top? Quote Link to comment

When I selected the Graphics Card dropdown at the time I had just: VNC Intel UHD Graphics 630 At the time - I was booting UNRAID without a GPU so I think UNRAID was using my 630 graphics even in non-GUI mode (text only). I may have incorrectly expected the unraid command line text on the monitor to switch over to the VM. I think this was an incorrect understanding of mine and causing the attempted double use. Currently - I don't think this iGPU approach is a viable option for me as my motherboard only allows a single GPU to be installed in a certain slot (and this means I loose one of my 3 HBA's which are in pciex8 slots). I did try a GT730 - GT730-4H-SL-2GD5 (on a pcie x1 slot) in the hope of having UNRAID output on that, and a VM on the motherboard hdmi iGPU (UHD630) but the thing refused to boot using the GPU in a different slot (opposed to the certain slot described in the manual) My current options (I think) are: 1 - Mess about with boots until it sees a GPU in a thunderbolt eGPU, and leave unraid useing the iGPU & motherboard hdmi (regardless of GUI or command mode) 2 - Remove a HBA from Slot1, and install a GPU, boot unraid in iGPU and use VM GPU 3 - Remove a HBA from Slot1 and install a GPU, boot unraid in GPU and use VM iGPU It is a real shame as the system was specified for the eGPU design, and using 3x HBA controllers in pciex8, and 2 spare pciex1 slots. Feel free to correct my understanding of the iGPU?
