rosydog Posted December 15, 2021 Share Posted December 15, 2021 I put a new Seagate Ironwold Pro drive into my server today and ran preclear. It took six hours to run but slowed down over time. I'm wondering why this might be, perhaps starting at the edge of the disk and moving inwards to the centre? Io/s and throughput almost halved towards the end. Quote Link to comment
