January 3, 20224 yr once unraid is booted in my system i go to my other computer and I cant get the IP or the web address to launch the gui. I have tried adjusting my bios settings. i have tried updating them as well and still nothing. tried legacy mode and eufi mode. even tried the local bupass gui on that computer still i have jack to show for it. anyways I need to go put some holes in walls for a little while hope someone will be able to help.

If you cannot get to the GUI, can you get to the command line or SSH into the server? Do you know the IP address of the server or are you still trying to get in for the very first time (it will be set to DHCP in this case)? If you can get to a command line on a booted server with an attached monitor and keyboard, type 'diagnostics' at the command line and post the resulting .zip in your next post.
January 3, 20224 yr Author I believe i was able to do that at one point but just tried now and the connection fails or times out. also the ip address it gives me is different than what i am used to seeing if that is of any value.

January 4, 20224 yr Author Solution as soon as you said the 169... is failed DHCP i took a closer look at my network wiring a boom there it is, Just purchased a new WiFi router and i had my Ethernet switch wired straight to the modem and not the return cable from the router, thank you for the help gonna up those holes in the wall but i am sure i will will be back with the next roadblock but i will come here first before taking it out on the wall.
