Hello everyone, looking to build my first NAS and decided unraid was the way to go. My friend gave me an OLD pc that is running ddr2 ram. Do I need something more modern or will this get the job done for now? Purposes I am looking for as of rn - backing up phone, backing up pc data, storing steam games that I dont play a lot.  Thanks for the help! Just trying to figure out i this is worth setting up or if I need to get my old parted out pc reassembled!

Type of RAM is less important than quantity. Does it have 4GB RAM?

rn it has 2, if it should work I will spend the $20 on ebay and get 8gb. Will be a lot cheaper than getting 75% of my newer pc up and running lol

Unraid requires a 64-bit CPU, I don't think there where any x86-64 processors that had DDR2.
