February 3, 20224 yr Hello everyone, looking to build my first NAS and decided unraid was the way to go. My friend gave me an OLD pc that is running ddr2 ram. Do I need something more modern or will this get the job done for now? Purposes I am looking for as of rn - backing up phone, backing up pc data, storing steam games that I dont play a lot. Thanks for the help! Just trying to figure out i this is worth setting up or if I need to get my old parted out pc reassembled!

February 3, 20224 yr Unraid requires a 64-bit CPU, I don't think there where any x86-64 processors that had DDR2.
