LucasJohn
Hey all I cannot boot into Unraid at all. Regardless of the options to boot into. It's getting quite annoying! I cannot get into it at all. Other Operating Systems boot but I need my shares. Sadly, I love Unraid but I seem to have nothing but issues with it now and I feel like my money is lost cause I cannot even use the OS I paid for. Last time this happened I simple selected Unraid OS (no gui) and it booted with no issue instead of booting Unraid OS with gui. I've tested hardware, different displays. Checked the memory. Played musical remove the ram sticks. Any ideas? I would very much like to use my server. Quote Link to comment
itimpi
Have you tried booting a fresh install on another USB drive to check it at least boots? If that works that would point to either a problem with your current flash drive or a setting somewhere in the ‘config’ folder on that drive. If even a fresh install will not boot that suggests some other hardware error. Quote Link to comment

Guessing the WebGUI is not available over the network? does the server ping? Are you able to read the USB in another machine? You could edit the syslinux config to change the default on the flash drive and then trying to boot again. But may be worth testing a fresh install on another flash as itimpi suggests to see if that boots. its in /syslinux and called syslinux.cfg you may look different for the append lines, but move menu default to the lable Unraid OS from GUI mode. default menu.c32 menu title Lime Technology, Inc. prompt 0 timeout 50 label Unraid OS menu default kernel /bzimage append initrd=/bzroot nomodeset label Unraid OS GUI Mode kernel /bzimage append initrd=/bzroot,/bzroot-gui intel_iommu=pt label Unraid OS Safe Mode (no plugins, no GUI) kernel /bzimage append initrd=/bzroot unraidsafemode label Unraid OS GUI Safe Mode (no plugins) kernel /bzimage append initrd=/bzroot,/bzroot-gui unraidsafemode label Memtest86+ kernel /memtest Quote Link to comment
