2 network connections yes/no

Binding "interfaces" can be a pain in the ass. (are they both Intel, or something else?).

 

Jonathan mentions "10Gbps"... and I would caution looking for "MULTI" Gbps. There are "standards" for *1*Gps (normal), and *2.5* Gps, and *5* Gps, and *10* Gps.

 

Only (above 1Gps) 2.5 and 10 are "popular". BUT... If your *10* won't do *2.5*... you're back to *1* (ALL protocols fall back to *1* Gbps -- I shouldn't say that, but most do).

 

The journey beyond Gigabit has many options. (SFP?)
