Unraid Disk Error

Featured Replies

So I came home earlier and noticed this error had popped up while I was out. Tried running both SMART short self-test & SMART extended self-test on Disk 2 but clicking on the START buttons of either tests don't seem to do anything. Should I stop the array first? Not sure what the correct steps are to remedy this issue. TIA!

Disk dropped offline and reconnect with a different letter, you can reboot to run he SMART tests using the GUI or run then now manually on sdk, the disk shows a lot of pending sectors, so you should run an extended test.

Did a parity check last night which returned 0 errors. Just rebooted and running SMART extended self-tests now. Will update with additional findings. Thanks!

Since you have dual parity, you were able to run a parity check, but disk2 wasn't included since it is disabled.

After extended test you are going to have to rebuild it of course.
