KeithLM
I currently have a RTL8125 card and am running 6.10rc4 and I'm just not seeing the speeds I should out of it. It seems to be running closer to 2gbps. I've read the default linux drivers just aren't that good for it. Anybody have a recommendation for a 2.5Gbe card that will allow me to max it out? Or is there some way to change the drivers Unraid is using? Quote Link to comment
MAM59
Better look out for something "real" like 10gbps cards. They can do 2,5gbe too without problems if you prefer such a slow speed. But these "2,5gbe only" chips are a big step into the wrong direction. They just raise more problems that they claim to fix. Quote Link to comment
KeithLM
10gbps is kind of expensive for my needs. I'm getting double the throughput for a relatively small investment, and I'm just hoping to get another 20% or so that I seem to be missing without having to dump a bunch of cash on it.
