May 25, 20224 yr Community Expert Enable the syslog server and post that after a crash, though if it's a hardware issue, and by the description it might be, possibly nothing will logged.
May 25, 20224 yr Author Just shutdown again, this time I have more logs from JorgeB sugestion. Yes, I have UPS, just disconected the USB and stopped the APC UPS daemon, just in case. syslog-192.168.1.99.log

This time yes, the server turned off, made a clean system power down. The other times, only stopped the array.

I mean, server could have rebooted, but the array made a clean stop, no parity checking needed. I supposed that if the server just rebooted, the array would do a “dirt” stop and had to be parity checked…
May 26, 20224 yr Community Expert According to your diagnostics, array is not set to autostart. So, if it reboots the array would be stopped. Is your BIOS configured to automatically boot when power is restored?

I always assumed that if a hardware error occorred that shutdown the system, the parity would have to be checked upon starting the array. Replaced all the RAM, same problem. Only thing I noticed, I didn't start the array and it didn't reboot for more than 7 hours. When I started it, always reboot in less than 2 hours. Edited May 26, 20224 yr by bpalhares

May 27, 20224 yr Author Funny thing, I removed the preclear disk pluggin, that apparently was not compatible with Unraid 6.9.2, and it has been 16 hours and everything is working perfectly.... Fingers crossed!
