ProfQ
I used 6 inch cable extenders for the MB 24 pin power cable and for the upper (4 pin, if I remember correctly) MB power port-The one close to the upper edge of the MB. Like these: 4 pin http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=19_183_1346&products_id=18166 MB 24 pin -main power: http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=19_183_1347&products_id=17458 Quote Link to comment
sloandsteady
Did you have any issues placing the Norco SS-500 in the bottom three 5.25" drive bays? The screw holes on the Norco SS-500 don't line up with the drive cage cutouts on the Fractal XL. Not cool. Quote Link to comment
ProfQ
If you want the Norco's screw holes to line up with the cage cutout holes you'll need to invert the SS-500. Quote Link to comment

ProfQ
By inverted, do you mean to cable connections on the backside are on the top above the fan location? Exactly. When the drive cage handles are facing down (not my personal favorite), then the screws line up better. But when you go for lining up all the screws, then the sata and power ports are way up in the case, needing extra cable reach. I went for cleaner/shorter cabling, more controls of drives when pulling them out from the SS-500, and enough screws holding the SS-500 in. Dealer's choice, I'd say. Quote Link to comment
