June 20, 20224 yr I updated my unraid os to 6.10.3 which has caused me many issues. One that I cannot find a fix for is that I can no longer use https to connect to the unraid dashboard. When I go to provision a Ca certificate in Management Access, nothing comes of it. I looked up the logs to see the issue and I have provided a photo of them. Because of the connection issues I have to use my phone to take a picture of the local gui on a screen. https://photos.app.goo.gl/GKjkyC4FZGcEQS29A I can't seem to find a way to fix it. Not only has 6.10 messed around with my network configuration, I think it has reset my custom docker proxy networks. I am not able to restore 6.9.3 anymore as my flash got corrupted trying to revert back. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
June 21, 20224 yr Thanks for the screen shot. I've never seen nginx refuse to reload like that. Can you reboot? Once it comes back up, see if the cert has provisioned. If there are still issues, post the diagnostics.zip (from Tools -> Diagnostics) to your next post in this thread.

June 22, 20224 yr Doesn't look like there was a reboot, these logs have the same timestamp as the image you showed earlier. Logs are cleared when Unraid reboots: Jun 20 23:50:22 Rynvis emhttpd: shcmd (226): /etc/rc.d/rc.nginx reload Jun 20 23:50:22 Rynvis root: Checking configuration for correct syntax and Jun 20 23:50:22 Rynvis root: then trying to open files referenced in configuration... Jun 20 23:50:25 Rynvis nginx: 2022/06/20 23:50:25 [alert] 4268#4268: *8830 open socket #28 left in connection 10 Jun 20 23:50:25 Rynvis nginx: 2022/06/20 23:50:25 [alert] 4268#4268: *8823 open socket #19 left in connection 14 Jun 20 23:50:25 Rynvis nginx: 2022/06/20 23:50:25 [alert] 4268#4268: aborting Whatever that "open socket" is, it is preventing nginx from stopping. A reboot should resolve that, the question is will it come back? If the error comes back, try disabling Docker and then rebooting again. I'm suggesting this since you mentioned there were issues with Docker networking. If the error still comes back, reboot into safe mode and see if it helps. If so, that means the issue is related to a plugin. Edit: sorry, I just remembered you don't have access to the webgui. Probably easiest to test safe mode first. Reboot and then choose the safe mode option from the boot menu.
June 26, 20224 yr Author So I managed to provision a certificate. I don't know how. I had not restarted the system but at least it is now working. Thank you. In previous versions of Unraid, I was able to type in the ip address of the server and it would automatically take me to the secured address of the server. But now it only takes me to the 'unsecure' address. Is there a way to get Unraid to map this over automatically?
