September 2, 20223 yr Community Expert Both of those disks SMART looks fine, though sds hasn't had any self-test. 2 minutes ago, trurl said: Do you know which was parity and which was disk10?
September 2, 20223 yr Community Expert From the screenshot you posted here: It looks like JVDT (sdg) was disk10 and AANC (sds) was parity. Do you think that is correct?

September 2, 20223 yr Community Expert Disable Autostart in Disk Settings Be sure to follow these directions exactly. If you have any questions or things don't seem to be working as described, let me know. Go to Tools - New Config, Retain All, Apply Go to Main - Array Devices, change Parity2 to Not Assigned, assign original parity as parity, assign original disk10 as disk10 Go to Main - Array Operation, check BOTH the Parity Valid box AND the Maintenance Mode box. Then start the array and post a screenshot
September 2, 20223 yr Community Expert OK Stop the array, set disk10 to Not Assigned Start the array in Normal mode (don't check Maintenance mode) Post a screenshot and new diagnostics
September 3, 20223 yr Community Expert Stop the array, don't change any assignments. Check the Maintenance mode box, start the array and post a screenshot. Do you know how to get to the command line?
September 3, 20223 yr Community Expert At the command line, enter xfs_repair -n /dev/md10 Capture the output and post it I will be back after dinner.

September 3, 20223 yr Community Expert Now to see how much confusion there is. Go to User Shares page, click Compute... for your new lost+found share, wait for the results. Then post a screenshot

September 3, 20223 yr Community Expert Looks like you have a little over 2TB lost+found. You can examine that user share with Dynamix File Manager plugin, or on the network. Typically there will be files/folders without their original names, files without their folders. Can be a lot of trouble to sort through. Linux 'file' command may be able to tell you what kind of data is in a file so you can try to open it with the appropriate application. Do you have backups of anything important and irreplaceable?
September 3, 20223 yr Community Expert Note that this is only the emulated disk10, it still has to be rebuilt, and rebuild should result in exactly what is on the emulated disk.
September 3, 20223 yr Community Expert We didn't use parity2 for any of this, because parity2 thinks disk10 had been formatted. But original parity didn't know anything about that format since it wasn't there when it happened.
